I literally just looked at it. I didnt see where it specifically pointed out "if you have these options then you only need this".
I'm not an idiot, i did read before i asked, but I'm not really gonna sit here and read a 40 page thread, who has time for that?
So, what exactly do i need to make this work? I have a 2019 ram Laramie sport Lvl 2. Options include:
Rain sensing wipers
Auto high beams
BSM/CPD
F/R park assist
Ready Alert Braking
12.1" screen w/nav, AA/CP
Im missing surround view cameras, ACC, LKA, self-parking.
The ONLY thing i care...
I just put mine on, and I will check at every fuel stop for the first 1k or so until I get a feel for how often it needs to be emptied. Oil quality as well as type of driving have a massive effect on it. For instance, I use Redline oil (its what my dealer stocks in synthetic), and don't drive...
no it was actually really simple. a youtube vid showed all the bolt locations. the worst part is having to yank on the center stack to get the tabs loose after unscrewing everything.
That looks like surface contamination in the substrate. No amount of wetsanding will fix it. I wetsanded my Ram myself because I didn't trust the dealer to do it. I was surprised at how tough the paint is. The clear is very hard and quite thick.
I took the console apart and used plasti-dip to mask off areas I didn't want painted, tape doesn't stick very well to the console trim due to the texture.
I left the wheel inserts in the wheels, they are glued on with the same adhesive the factory uses to glue unibody seams together, so you...
I finally got my Laramie Sport 4x4 the way I want it. I am only waiting on 2 more items (BT Catch can in red and a sunroof wind deflector) and she's done. Due to lifetime warranty constrains, I really can't do much else. This all took about a month of working a few hours a day (except the...
Hey all! Brought home my new truck on 12/20/2018. This is not my first Ram, nor will it be my last.
^Within a week of me bringing it home.
^Added 2" McGaughy's Drop coils in the rear.
^24" LED Bar, 30" LED Bar, 2x 7" LED Amber/White pod/strobes added
^In the garage for some much...
The input flange on the driveshafts are milled steel, uncoated. No paint+weather+steel=surface rust. Itll be 100 years + before that part fails due to corrosion. 20 years+ if you live in a salty state
Do not do 10 ply. It'll kill the ride. I had 35's on my 4th gen for awhile and between the noise (mt's) and the ride, i couldnt stand it. After a year i went back to 33" AT tires.
That said, i have 275/60/20 on my Laramie sport and love it. I also have the rear lowered on 2" drop springs...
I have the recalls, other than that i have the front end clunk TSB that needs done and my gas mileage sucks.
Overall i call that a win! Love my truck almost as much as i love my kid lol
