Before the level and tires I could get 20-21mpg as I mostly drive highway, but after I have seen as high as 19 on an all highway tank. I usually hang around 17.5 with probably a 70hwy/30city mix.
I'm not sure what to make of it. It definitely has a different feeling than it used to. It was as if there was some strong engine braking happening.
There are a few other threads about e torque where users have mentioned the "downshift" feeling and "drag" when letting off the brakes. Most...
My 2019 Ram 1500 has the 5.7 with the e-torque. Up until a couple of weeks ago, my truck would regen brake pretty hard when letting off the gas. It was enough so that I rarely have to apply brakes and this has been great. I did have the start/stop not work at a stop sign and I had to start the...
I didn't do the AFE's but the BBK shorties fit with no modifications. They have been solid for the ~1000 miles I have had them on. We just towed our 29.5' TT 200 miles last weekend.
I have a Softopper on mine. It has been great for the ~5000 miles I have had it. No leaks, and the convenience of being able to remove it or fold it back in a couple of minutes is pretty nice.
I replaced both of my cracked stock manifolds this past weekend. I went with the BBK shorty headers here.
Install took around 7 hours over 2 days. I could have saved an hour or so by not trying to move the Y-Pipe back like the instructions say to do. This wasn't necessary at all. I did not...
That's correct. It lets you change a lot on the BCM.
I have used it to add the OEM trailer brake controller and towing page since my truck didn't come with it. I have adjusted my tire size, changed my running lights to the amber signals, and a few other little things.
I have seen posts on other forums, not necessarily Ram forums, where people mention welding their cast manifolds and that fixing it.
Cast does require a different technique to weld, but it does seem like an option.
Those Rough Country look great.
My Carharrtt covers from Covercraft have been excellent on my front seats. Their site mentions the 60/40 split and the fold down armrest but I do not have experience with them...
Driver and passenger sides cracked on mine. Parts are nowhere to be found and I don't wanna go the header route just yet.
JB Weld ExtremeHeat sealed it up pretty nice for a very temporary fix. Now it doesn't sound like a diesel when I start it so I am happy.
We have a 29' Springdale but it only had one entrance so seems to be a little different. The dry weight on ours is listed at 6800lbs, probably ~7200lbs with all our gear in it.
We really enjoy ours, my truck, very similar to yours (3.21, 5.7, but I have 35s), pulls it well.
I have the Bilsteins on mine and they have been great. I ran them on my 2014 1500 as well and never had any issues.
The spacers will be easier to install. I like the ride of the Bilsteins and I believe it helps with CV/UCA angles but someone else would need to confirm.
Are the 18s different than the 20s when it comes to fitting 12.50s? I have 35x12.50s on my factory 20s and there is no rubbing anywhere.
I didn't use a spacer, just the Bilstein's to level the front.
