Update on my issue:
It only took 2 weeks to get the new engine installed and I am back on the road. I had a fantastic experience with RamCare and the dealer who did the work. Ram customer care opened a case for me and is reimbursing me for a rental car that I had for a week. No complaints...
The dealer I took the truck to is the one doing the repair and they are located very close to me and have a good reputation. I bought the truck from a different dealer that is a half hour drive out of town which is why I didn't go there.
Hopefully RamCares will be able to help me get a loaner...
