Well I finally picked up my truck on Saturday. Long ASF wait (7 months) bit worth it. Great ride! Thanks to everyone for your sharing your stories and to triple_b and eighty for your work.
Well after 7 long months it seems I’m finally getting my truck. Dealer notified me today it’s here. Going in tomorrow to pick it up. Hope everything is as it should be. I’m excited yet cautious given all the BS that it took to finally get here.
Except clearly they have parts as they’re building out tons of trucks. Just not mine. So fed up with Ram. Something I was really looking forward to and excited about has now turned into complete and utter dismay. The only reason why I haven’t dumped this whole thing is the deal I got. Although...
WTF. Just got off the most aggravating call. My dealer just called me to tell me my truck won’t be scheduled for build until Jan 24!! RamCare told me two days ago that it’s been in production since Oct 28. The GM from the dealership is the one who called me. Says he got the info from the mid...
So got off the phone with RamCare this morning. They told me my truck went into production on Oct. 28. Takes 7-9 weeks for build according to them. That doesn’t sound right to me from what I’ve seen others go through. Of course they can’t tell me where in the build process it’s at. They told me...
That’s the number I called last week and got further with them then anyone else. The person told me to check back in two weeks and they’d give me another status update.
Got excited when I saw the state “Virginia” and that quickly went to anger when I saw the VIN started with “200”. Mine starts with 102 and I’m still waiting………
Talked to Ram Care yesterday (866-932-3878) which apparently is different then Customer Service (who have been to date worthless). They actually told me my status changed and it’s in build status. So maybe hope for me yet. I guess I’ll know in a week or so as I would expect to have...
I apologize as I’m sure this has been asked. But does someone have all the status codes I can shove down my dealers throat? They literally told me this today.
“So pre-production and production are both D status, finished production ready for/completed inspection is D1 status”
So two weeks ago my order was in a holding pattern due to similar issues @Eighty had (12A package being dropped, etc). My dealer said it was all squared away and should be in rotation (whatever the hell that means). Mind you I was still in D status. I checked in today and the dealer claims...
