Do you have Etorque? Our pickups with Etorque are all over the place with voltage while running

Page 1 of this thread has many that claim their gauge displays a constant 14 something.. either they’re lying or we’ve got a charging issue.

Dealers service center wasn’t well versed on the Etorque system when I called yesterday. I had to spend a few minutes explaining that there’s not an alternator on the truck. I pressed more on the 12v charging system and they said I should only bring it in if it fails to start. How will I get...

Yes, same. @RamCares is this concerning? No warnings on the dash for me, but considering it takes 12.9v to charge the battery the truck is apparently not receiving a charge during the entire trip.

Thanks for the response. I agree, and on a normal truck I’d know to pull the alternator and have it benched or replaced. With the Etorque system You’ve got the MGU, 48v battery, dc-dc converter, and more! Where the heck do I start. 12.6 volts at 75mph an hour into the trip just can’t be right.

Intermittent charging on my 1 week old hemi etorque. Here’s 12.6 volts at 75mph after an hour of highway driving. The next day it decided to charge on the first trip, sustaining 13.7 volts. seems like neither forum members nor dealership know for-sure if this is an issue?

Any resolution to this? Drove mine off the lot last Saturday and this is EXACTLY what I’m noticing
