T Those flares on the white truck in that link are not SF1s. Those are e series pocket. Same as I have. Sf1 doesn't have rivet holes and are more flat. They look good. If you want the rounded, rivet style , buy the pocket fenders. My eseries are off right now because they warped. RC...

No, mine is not a starting sound. It just makes wierd clunking/tapping/blow off type sounds when idling

Welcome, I know that truck...I saw it in J-town. Then, I assume was the same, in Paragould.

Wow, mine makes some odd noises when I first start it and it is idling. The way you said ?clunk? makes me think, I can't discribe it either. From outside, mine sounds like it is coming from under the truck by the seats.

I was thinking the opposite. Got mine tinted and eco never comes on. Maybe its something else.....

All the bushings in a 6k mile truck? The isolator is made from delrin or a similar product. Its plastic. It isolates the coil from the perch and locates the coil roughly centered. Without it the coil has room to shift and will squeak.

That top spacer isn't a spacer. Its an isolator. P/N 68273964ab Its gonna make noise if you remove it.

After a short break with an off brand, I saw a good opportunity to get out of it and buy another Ram. Went looking for Granite, fell in love with the green. Been working on it all week, wife hates that RC is 30 minutes down the road.
