I found the thread you were talking about.
Because the factory bolt was never installed in where the yellow circle is, the threaded hole doesn't line up. I can't get the bolt to start in the hole. :(
Dealer job now.
Here's a picture under my truck. I'm guessing the red circled bolt comes out. The blue circle is circling a hole behind the cable harness.
The yellow circle is circling a hole that was empty from the get go. I've tried screwing in a bolt into this hole but I can't tell if it's threaded or...
I just got a call from my dealer about the steering in my truck. They want to do an inspection to see if I have the issue. I think you can loose control. If the problem is there, they told me the parts are on back order until May. Anybody else get tis recall? I've had recalls by mail...
This is because of the new body style of the 2019 Rams. More aerodynamic. My last 2015 Ram Limited Fender flares had zero chips after 4 years. I just looked at my 3 week old truck, and while it's not as bad as pics above, it's starting. That's terrible.
I also have the mud flaps that don't...
I now drive a 2019 Ram limited. My 2015 Ram Limited, which I bought new also, had condensation in the headlights. I took it in back then with this problem and they did nothing. Sais it was normal. I thought that was BS, but what could I do? I was pissed. But in time, it cleared itself up...
Update to the problem I had with the Black Anodized Rails vs the Aluminum unfinished rails.
Problem solved. When I went back to the dealer, he said the Black rails go with the Mopar Tonneau cover they removed when I bought the truck. Sales manager said when they removed the Mopar Tonneau...
I have the BLACK rail system on My 2019 Ram 1500 Limited. There are 2 different types. The black ones and the aluminum ones.
The black ones are installed when you ordering your truck with a Ram Tonneau cover.
The aluminum ones are installed when you don't specify a tonneau cover at build.
I...
New info on these MX4 Tonneaus covers.
If the rail system in the back of your truck is unfinished aluminum, their system will work.
If your rail system is black anodised like mine, their system won't work. I got this info from BAK.
They tell me apparently my rail system is an Upgraded Mopar...
Thanks Edward.
Great info. When installing it, do you take out the adjustable tiedowns and use that railing system to install.
Does it look like it will keep the water out?
Again, Thanks inadvance,
Chris
Hi All. New member today. Joined because of this thread.
I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited with the Ram Box. I had a Tonneau cover company order me the BakFlip MX4 Toneau cover for it. They ordered the one they say that fits my truck. 448227RB. They tried to install it and said they couldn't...
