I would assume it has to do with raising the ride height and this guy in the suspension thread explains it pretty well. I guess since it's a cheap level upgrade ($30) and you are not really changing the whole suspension around you have to lose some functionality somewhere..- Wxrescue45

First post... Just bought my slightly used 2021 1500 Limited a week ago.. So today went and ordered my Rough Country 2" level kit - XD series 820 Grenade wheels Black and Blue in 20x9 and new Toyo Open County RT 295/55R20 tires- Wxrescue45
