My lease is coming to an end soon and I was prepared to drop off the truck and pay a few hundred dollars in lease termination fees.
I discovered that the trade in value of my truck is mid to high forties and the buyout is $37k.
It turns out that Carmax will buy out the lease just as they would...
My solution was to cancel my subscription and buy a WiFi hotspot from boost mobile. It’ll be $50 for 50 gb. I’ll use that on my upcoming road trip in April.
Frustrating that they can’t fix it but I’d consider it unusable the way it is.
Yes Jako. It's renewing every month at $4.99 and after 12 months will jump up to the regular rate. I'll cancel before that time and wait for another offer.
I had to use the web address and promo code on the promotional letter. It didn't show up when I logged into my SiriusXM account online.
I really hate how they force you to call and cancel. The other annoying thing is that everyone is paying different prices. They need to keep it simple like Netflix. Sign up or cancel online and everyone pays $5 a month. Their subscriber numbers would triple.
I wasn't planning on resubscribing...
I tow a very similar trailer with a fully loaded truck, 4 passengers, a couple of kayaks, bikes and a generator in the back. Zero problems with several thousand miles towed. No errors on my air suspension even though I’m a couple of hundred pounds overweight. You’ll be fine with it as long as...
I’m pretty sure weight distribution hitches are illegal in Europe so the trailer axles are further forward to reduce the tongue weight.
Do an image search for “caravan Europe “ and you’ll see a lot that have the axles further forward.
That's the tricky thing about choosing a trailer and WDH. It's impossible to really know what the rear axle weight will be until you hook up the trailer and set up the WDH.
I think it would be possible to have a family of four on board with some stuff in the bed and still be below the rear axle...
Maybe as an added security measure there's some sort of verification happening with the Uconnect server. If it can't connect it can't verify the password?
I understand the difference between wifi and cell coverage. In theory you should be able to connect to the wifi regardless of your connection.
This problem is pretty consistent for me when I'm in an area with weaker coverage. My wife has AT&T on her phone so I can get an idea of the signal...
Was it an area with poor cell coverage? That's where I encountered problems. Mines been working well lately but I've been traveling in areas with good coverage.
Mine got damaged a few weeks ago. $2300 in damage. That'll meet the threshold for an accident report on the Carfax.
It's a lease so it looks like I'll be returning it. I was considering buying it out but the repaint and accident report made the decision for me.
Mine is pretty well equipped too. I find the 12 inch screen is a bit distracting. I'm always searching for where to click.
My wife likes it but she's logged more hours in the RAM ****pit than I have so she can find things on the screen quicker.
Mine is a lease and I think when I return it my...
I had a similar problem. It was a loose wire on the trailer itself. Nothing to do with the truck in my case.
I had my wife sit in the truck and monitor the dashboard while I went and wiggled every potential loose connection starting from the truck and working back to the trailer axle.
