Wife just reported the blue screen and 2 restarts while driving today. I haven't had anything going wrong before this. Hope that TSB flash is effective
Been over a week, varying temps, humidity, wind, snow and rain levels. No issue. Hopefully you won't hear from me again boys. Thanks for all the help along the way. I'll report back if anything happens again.
Dropped my ram 9ff today to have some recall work done, and something with the air damn or louvres causing vibration on highway. I asked them to look into an updated radio or TSB from FCA while they do the other stuff. I'll see what the official word is from them by Friday
Crazy thing with mine is it's WAY more common when temps are just floating around freezing. During super cold snaps way below in the -10 to -20°c range it almost never happened. Last few days near 0°c it's every other time.
Yeah I think so. I'll have to double check but when I first get in and start it the radio works and always cuts out about 3-5 seconds after I put it in any gear. ACC mode 100% of the time works. Maybe it still happens in park just takes longer than I wait. But typically I can start it and get...
I think that idea about a shared wire with the drive select knob has real merit. The cutout is completely controllable by going between drive and park. I'm sure they'll figure it out, if my frustration is showing its because I haven't got any of the responses you guys are getting. If I wasn't...
You work for FCA or something? Who comes to a forum about issues and tells people to stop complaining about an issue. Get a grip bud. You don't want to complain, you want to just sit and wait for an answer, cool, that's your call. But lots of us are very pissed off about driving for hours with...
Just put that on their twitter handle. I haven't got any response from anyone and I'm getting sick of it. Just being told to wait until there is an update with no timeline is getting old quick. Complete horseshit. Next move is calling the new station "fixer" guy and get some bad publicity going...
Email sent. Also, curious if anyone else noticed this, when it was bitter cold outside I rarely had this happening, but since its been cool but not freezing it's started acting up again. And it seems most ppl started getting it happening around Oct, Nov, Dec. Have you guys found that it's more...
From what I did see this update will apply to both, I cant guarantee that, but the tsb had pages in the back detailing the instructions for how to load it to a USB and update manually. Like everyone has mentioned, if you have the connected model they cant manually update, so fingers crossed one...
