the dealer does every other change. I am on a 5k mile schedule. Have lifetime warranty and dont trust myself to keep good records. Also i wouldnt say the filter is ever really that tight. I dont use ramps or anything to lift the front so the wrench just makes getting a good grip easier
Did my second oil change yesterday and used a single one gallon ziplock. Did not spill a drop!
i used one of the filter wrenches that look like a giant set of pliers which made getting the filter loose easy.
the gallon zip lock worked but it was a ***** to twist the filter off when its...

People that open their car doors on others are a lower for of human. Want to know my advice to not getting door dings? Try your best to park next to other trucks. For the most part, dudes that drive trucks don’t open their doors on other cars.
Just looked at Rock Auto. They now have Cenric pads in their catalog but not yet in stock (I am sure they will be in stock soon though). It will be interesting to see if different manufacturer pads solve the problem
Anybody find one place that sells aftermarket pads yet? Rock Auto, NAPA, etc have nothing for the Ram. I bet when good after market pads are available I can make the squealing go away.
I started off at ~12.8 mostly city. On thing though, I have a 3 mile long hill i basically go up most times I leave the house. After 2k miles I am hovering around 15mpg. I am still waiting to get the truck on a flat highway on a road trip. The California Central Valley would be a great test.
