I have a 2019 Laramie with 40,000 with Mopar extended warranty (8 years and 100k). Have had headliner staining issue for quite a while. Finally brought it into Chrysler World Pulaski WI. They very briefly looked at the headliner and said 3rd brake light leak. Not covered by warranty. Nothing...
I have factory running boards and no lift. I enter truck as I have all other vehicles. There is no way the wear or cracking on the seat is normal wear and tear if standard leather, not inferior leather is used by manufacturer. Two years of use should not look like this.
Perhaps you should cancel your order. Cut your losses while they are small. I was a huge proponent of the new 1500 when I first bought one. Still stayed a supporter through early recall issues but have become increasingly concerned about quality and FCA support. Keep reading posts and it will...
I’ve read many of the previous posts so that is how I knew my issue wasn’t a one of a kind. FCA is fighting this because they know this is a huge potential problem/cost for them. But once the word gets out about putting out inferior products the cost to FCA will be greater. Might have out sold...
Lucky you got it replaced. At 22000 miles mine has wrinkled to the point of cracking. Again Ram is saying this is normal wear and tear and will not replace under warranty. My dealership, S and L Motors in Pulaski WI has been unwilling to stand up and cover the defect. They just say Ram won’t...
One thing I forgot from the call. Maxine told me there is no telephone number for Ram Customer Service to call. After saying I didn’t believe that she started to give me a PO address I could write to. Needless to say I am far from impressed with my Ram /FCA vehicle. Whoever decided to give the...
After numerous emails over a couple of weeks I finally got a chance to talk with a live person at RamCares (now that’s an oxymoron if I ever heard one). The wonderful lady Maxine informed me “the Higher Ups reviewed the decision from Ram digital” whoever that is “and agreed that splittleather...
Glad you’re not trying to point at me but I have cared for the leather. Have had numerous vehicles with leather without this issue. I should say that one vehicle did. A 1997 Suburban after 15 years and 200,000.
Right away I will apologize for this very late night post but hope my experience will help educate others.
Climbed into my 2019 1500 Laramie the other day and notice the leather on my seat edge was badly wrinkled and cracking open in a wrinkle. I have only 22,000 miles and have babied this...
Looked at a 2020 Limited with Ramboxes and Multi function tailgate and compared with my 2019 with Ramboxes. No question you could swap out the tailgates. Only difference is the latching pins near top of sides where the fold down tailgate latches. MF tailgate has slightly longer pins which would...
