I’m very happy to see this! While all the 8.4 units I’ve had have been flawless with every feature working as it should, the 12” has been very disappointing to me. I can almost say I hate it. It has a high geewhiz factor but that’s it. The Navigation is a turd, it’s slow as molasses and the...
Brand new 2020 Power Wagon with the 12” screen. I’ve had three 4th gen 1500s and a 2018 Power Wagon with the 8.4. The Traffic Link weather app worked flawlessly on all of my 8.4 units. Not the case with the 12”. I used the TL weather map often in my prior RAMs. I expect it to work in my new and...
One things for sure, I’d never buy ANY current brand of vehicle and consider it a long term keeper. These things are all now quite disposable. Maybe by design? I can’t say but...The problem with vehicles these days is that they are all trying to get cute by out gimmicking each other, rushing...
I have put 14” Magnafow on my past 4th gen RAMs and loved it. Not too loud, not too quiet and the drone was minimal, although noticeable. Like has been said, you can’t have both.
Man, I just think the Quad Cabs look so much better than Crews. Just looks more like a “truck”. All 5 of my 1500s were QCs. Personal preference, but I thought they still had plenty room in the backseat and I really liked the longer bed. I’m just happy to see the RAM still offers them. FWIW...
Yes sir! Our first world problems.....LOL!!
FWIW, A Durango for a 17 y/o is an awesome idea IMHO. That would be a sweet and versatile ride.
PS, keep in mind, I have rear airbags on my PW so it definately helps bolster the payload capacity. Best mod Ive ever done to a truck. (y)
OOOOOR just ready this nugget??? How about your seat belt causing a fire?

Built Ford tough....:ROFLMAO:
Cool features but dang, just makes you think about all the potential malfunctions that could happen with alll these ever increasing nannies. LOL! Oh well, I will probably never keep a new vehicle long enough for any of them to go bad on me. Amazing tech though.
There might not be a bigger fan of the 4th gen styling than me. ;) But even the 4th gen took about a year to really catch my attention. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks and I was enamored. However, I loved the 5th gen from the get go. It really dates the old truck and keeps RAM as the...
I saw 2 new RAMs with leveling kits on them today. Coincidentally they were both black on black and one was on larger tires, didnt catch the size. The guy I actually talked to had his done at the dealership, cant recall the brand he used. Both looked great! Starting to see a lot more DTs on the...
There’s a dozen used 2018 Rapturds and 3 pages of used 2018 F150s within 100 miles of me on cars.com. Many with extremely low mileage. Should people be “worried” about the new Rapturd or F150? GASP!!:ROFLMAO:
Hey GM! 1999 Microsoft Windows called and wants its graphics back that you borrowed for your infotainment. Every time I see a GM infotainment screen, I expect to hear “you’ve got mail!” Terrible.
Anyway, Welome to RAM!
You say the starter makes a thunk sound “sometimes”? How often is “sometimes”? If you take it in, they have to be able to replicate the problem.
If the drop in liner was dealer or factory installed, make them sure it up so it doesn’t make a racket over bumps.
If there’s 3/4 difference in the...
Toyotee Tundra is a fine enough truck and can be a handsome truck when done correctly but it’s ancient. No comparison. Brand loyalty is about all it’s got left going for it these days.
