So a couple weeks ago I went out to start my truck, pushed the button and got nothing but a click.
Lights were bright and accessories all lit up as normal, but all I got was a click and the computer reset like it's ready to start.
I hooked up the jump box and nothing.
I go in the house and...
Love my sunroof and Ram boxes. Wouldn't have bought the truck without them.
Suspension I think is a personal preference. I don't mind the springs, but I added bags for towing.
Swapping out that joke of a sway bar is a must too!
It's definitely off on my '20, not by a lot, but enough that I notice it.
It sucks, but it hasn't affected the functionality of the boxes.
Having said that, I freaking love the Ram Boxes!
I'm hopeful for a fix, but it's not a flaw that would make me get rid of my truck or stop me from...
I went with the Bushwacker's. No drilling or modifications. I had to go with the wider version to cover bigger wheels.
You can get them painted or black. I left mine black.
You lost me with the diesel part, but Husky definitely makes a 300 and it's freaking amazing.
One of my riding buddies has one in his stable and I've been jonesing for one since he got it.
That is SWEET! Would be awesome for camping and getting the trailer set up after dark.
Anyone behind you while you back up at night isn't going to be a fan though.
Wholly crap dude, where do you live that Ram's are being targeted like that?
If I were a car thief with the skills/equipment to intercept signals and just drive off with someone's ride, not that I don't love my truck, but I'm going to use those skills to go after Maybach's or high end Mclaren's.
The Husky 300 thumper will be the next pony added to the stable.
I have such problems getting rid of bikes.
I always say I'll sell one when I buy the next, but it almost never happens.
Love the 690, but I split my time pretty evenly between track and trail and that 690 is a beast!
My `20 500 is 8 pounds lighter than my `12 250sxf. So it still handles the track well as long as I don't get stupid.
Which I freely admit happens more times than not, but such is the life of a...
Yes, once it's on the platform you just secure the pegs, tighten them down and you're off.
I do use a tie down for the handle bars, but it's not necessary.
It doesn't wobble or shake in the least.
I ride a KTM 500 excf, 4 stroke monster and I have no issues.
They do have an HD version...
I admire you guys for pushing your bikes up into the bed of these ridiculously tall trucks. Also doesn't help that I'm on the shorter side.
I have a dirt bike trailer for times when I'm bringing more than 1 bike, but for transporting just 1 bike, I made the switch to a Moto-Jack-Rack.
It...
Ya, I Thought I would grow to like the chrome, but I'm just not a fan.
Please report back on anything you find about the handles.
If there's a way to change those out, I'd love to know about it.
What are you planning to do about the door handles? Those are the only reason that I haven't removed all of the chrome. I can't find an option to replace.
That's exactly why I escaped from Illinois. Spent my entire life waiting for it to get better. Finally I was like "what the hell am I doing here?"
Loaded up the family and headed west.
Best decision I've made in my adult life. Should have done it 20 years ago.
