I have the V8 Hemi with the 3.92 gears and I've found the horsepower to be quite exciting just as it is. I definitely have both hands on the wheel when gunning it. I personally wouldn't want any more horsepower in a family truck.

Agree, the NAV is pretty to look at but really stupid when it comes to picking the best route to a destination. I use Google Maps through the Android Auto interface instead. Google is also much better at recognizing voice commands.

Using the Andersen with the truck sway damping turned on with no issues.

When I was looking for mine I did a 100 mile radius search for a 4X2 Patriot Blue and had only one match, which I bought. To be honest I kind of like having one of the rarer colors, I haven't seen even one like it on the road in the local area.

Nice setup and good decision to use a WDH with sway damper. As you have figured out, the key to pulling safely is keeping the speed appropriate to conditions. Hope you enjoy many safe camping trips. GB

10k is pushing it for a 1/2 ton. However, with the proper WD hitch and sway damper it can be done but I would keep the speed 60 or lower.

Awesome looking truck. The silver trim really sets it off. I updated my signature with my specs. The Coleman is a Lantern 202RD, 25 ft. Long, 5000 lb. I'm expecting my Ram which is rated to pull 11K not to have any problems with it...
