    Exhaust Leak-Muffler

Perfect. No issues. Its been over a year now.

    Rear window leak

I may not be a good test case because I live in West Texas where it hardly rains, however, I added Permatex back in November and after multiple car washes, still no leaks.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Did you take the key ring off the physical key and store in the back of the new key fob?

What did you do to your Ram today???

It looks like an easy swap in the video but I'm curious, is it fairly easy to do? Also, it seems these are much thinner than stock, is that true?

    Rear window leak

Right. A good squeeze will get it in the crack and because its flowable, it will make its way down into the channel. I'd tape off your paint and top of window to keep it clean.

    Rear window leak

Yes, I just did the top channel, thick, from about 4-5 inches past the slider on the driver side, to 4-5 inches past slider on passenger side. My main crack was right at the corner of the slider on the drivers side. So far, no leaks since applying Permatex. Mine fills the channel almost up to...

What did you do to your Ram today???

It was a pain in the butt doing those map lights, wasn't it? I did mine a year ago but didn't use lasfit. One of the lights flickers now so I need to replace but don't want to mess with changing them since its a little difficult...and afraid I'm going to brake something.

    Rear window leak

No leaks after the car wash! Permatex did the trick. Hopefully it lasts for a while. I don't plan on messing with replacing it since my ext. warranty doesn't cover leaks.

    Rear window leak

I added almost the entire tube of Permatex underneath the brake light and about half a foot past the slider on both sides. It was pretty thick, basically filled the entire channel. After my water test, no drip on the inside. That's the first time I've not had a leak. I'm going to run it through...

    Rear window leak

I just went any got some more Permatex and cut a larger hole and got pretty good coverage. I'm going to let it sit for 24-48 hours and test it out. By looking at it, it seems there is no way water could get in once its dry.

    Rear window leak

For those of you who replaced the glass WITHOUT warranty, what was your price?

    Rear window leak

Has anyone tried running some Gorilla tape or any other waterproof tape in the window channel? I'm wondering if that would help. I know water could still get in or under but maybe it would reduce the amount of water getting in as a temporary or "good enough" solution. In my head it seems like it...

    Rear window leak

Yes, agreed. It just seems more likely its leaking from those cracks, or at least much easier to believe compared to the 3rd brake light.

    Rear window leak

Have you tested it with a car wash/hose or had rain since it was replaced? Curious how it is. As for replacing the 3rd brake light gasket, I did that with a marine gasket but when I took the original off, I didn't see any evidence of water leaking through the gasket. I guess its possible it...

    Rear window leak

I'm thinking about doing what this guy did. I've tried sealing the back window, replacing gasket, etc. with no luck. I'm hoping if I can see exactly where the water is coming in, I can have better luck. Its coming in up under the headliner but I can't tell from the outside so maybe the inside...

    Rear window leak

Maybe so. I went around it a while back with some silicone but I ran out right at the end so there is still a spot that is "open".

    Rear window leak

No luck on my FlexSeal. It rained yesterday and had the same leak. I'm about to start looking for another truck, this is crazy they continue to have this problem and don't address it.

    Rear window leak

I just sprayed a bunch of black Flex Seal in the channel above the window, below the break light. Never used Flex Seal before so we'll see what happens tomorrow after 24 hours. I wasn't brave enough to try and spray blindly inside the cab up under the headliner.
  19. G

    Rear window leak

No, its not. I did just find a video on partially removing the headliner which doesn't look too difficult. You remove the 4 Airbag plastic covers (Two on top of headliner, other two on the side near the seatbelts), remove the 4 screws behind that, and then it should come down enough to allow me...

    Rear window leak

Tested this morning and still have a leak. I'm pretty surprised at this point, I've used a lot of silicone, seems like it would have sealed any cracks. I'm about to just stuff a sponge up under the liner and window and inside and call it good. My extended warranty does not cover water leaks and...
