New Cooper at3 xlts in 275/65r20

I now have about 2k miles on them and they have actually gotten better. They're still extremely quiet, the grip has actually improved and I think a little break in for the sidewall has improved the ride slightly. I do have a level although you might fit the 34s with out one. I do also rub the...

    Improving the handling

The Ram definitely has a much better ride than my Ford or any other truck i've ridden in but I'm talking about straight cornering feel. The Ford felt planted and more flat through corners stock than the Ram. The cornering of the Ford was very confidence inspiring and gave you that feeling that...

Help me find a tire please

Cooper makes the AT3 xlt and AT3 LT in LT in 275/55r20. An XL tire though is pretty similar to D range LT. The xl has a stiffer sidewall as compared to a P but not quite as firm as an E rated. Also, unless you need/want an AT tire, you may want to stick with an XL highway terrain tire instead...

    Improving the handling

I actually agree with the OP, the ram ride is amazing but compared to my xlt its cornering had a lot of body roll that sapped confidence compared to the Ford. One thing you can do that stiffened it right up is level with the rough country leveling kit. Adding the preload made a world of...

Should I choose 8.4 Nav on the Laramie trim?

They are not actually the same unit. They are made by 2 different companies so the software can't just be added after the fact even.

Should I choose 8.4 Nav on the Laramie trim?

I have the non-nav but I use android auto always. The only 2 regrets I have by going non-nav are the loss of app control, and the loss of the glossy black trim around the screen. The non-nav's get the matte black plastic surround. In my previous vehicles with nav, i can probably count the times...

Who likes the Stock 6 Speaker Stereo

I think you might be over exaggerating how much the ANC does lol. 98% of the quiet is the actual truck construction and materials. The ANC just helps cancel a bit of the engine noise, which unless you are constantly at 3-5k rpms is pretty minimal already. If you want to see how it's like with...

Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT in light mud

I have the XLT's and cant say enough great things about them. I havent really done any mud with them unfortunately, but they should be more or less the same as the regular AT3's since the tread is the same with a more aggressive sidewall. I will say in the dry, rain, or sand they've been...

Who likes the Stock 6 Speaker Stereo

The apps are pretty bullet proof as they've been around for many years at this point. The only thing I didn't do was reverse all speakers to see if doing the inverse of factory would help. All of mine except the driver's door were ”red", I didn't try to swap it so that the driver's door was...

Who likes the Stock 6 Speaker Stereo

That was actually what I did first was duplicate the factory setup. That caused an ANC roar from 800-1600 rpm where the ANC fed back on itself playing a louder version of the engine. I then tried making the polarity all match, that just shifted the roar to be from 800-3200 rpm. So since I was...

No, I left the factory amp under the seat alone and haven't added a sub. I was thinking of getting one of the shallow powered subs put in eventually. Honestly though, just swapping all the speakers and turning off the ANC has made it really nice. It's lacking a bit of bass for sure, but its...

No USB Outlets or 12 Volt outlets in the backseat??

That's the front, the rears would be under optional with the 400w inverter

The polarity is super easy, use speaker pop (iPhone) or polarity checker (Android). To use the polarity checker, 1)Connect it via Bluetooth and use the media setting to play the tone it makes through the speakers. 2) Then put the mic of the phone next to the speaker and turn the volume up on...

No USB Outlets or 12 Volt outlets in the backseat??

The only concern would be if you need the inverter for the USB ports. I know that if you get the Non-BSG big Horn 2 it deletes the inverter which deletes the rear plugs

Who likes the Stock 6 Speaker Stereo

I used the jbl gx302 in the dash, and then the jbl gx963 in all 4 doors. The JBLs are 2.3 ohms vs 2 for the stock and I didn't want to lose volume so it was worth it to me. I did have to ”modify” the JBLs for the doors by using a half inch bit on each hole to line up with the mounting holes on...

Who likes the Stock 6 Speaker Stereo

I ended up replacing all 6 speakers with JBLs and the rear door made the biggest difference imo. It always felt like all the sound was coming from the front, once I swapped the rears it really helped make the sound more enveloping.

Who else is waiting for the new tailgate?

Funny, I was of the other opinion. The GM one seems gimicky and mostly unuseful other than the step functionality which is pretty great. The split letting me get farther in to the bed and unload it with out getting crud in the split seemed more useful for me although I'd still want to add the...

Who else is waiting for the new tailgate?

While I don't feel super bummed about getting my truck before seeing the new tailgate as it's not a huge deal. I'd definitely have waited to get it with the tailgate if I was buying now

    Bedrug XLT

Bedrug and Bedtred are both bedrug products. The difference is the bedtred texture is more like a spray in liner where the rug is like a carpet. Both having padding for the knees.
