Same here. I bought a whole kit(240 piece) from amazon with removal tools. 7-8 bucks with free delivery. I think the bumper holes are 10.5mm if I remember right. As you all know, there are clips everywhere on the new vehicles.
Hey no problem, I know that's why most of us are on here to share info and help each other out. I did not do the UCAs, left them stock for now but have zero issue and angles don't look too bad. I just bought the 275/60s last year so I will have to wait until I wear them down before I can justify...
Here are a few pics with some information, hopefully this might help.
- White letter on the tires are the stock Wildpeak AT 275/55/20 when I bought the truck.
- Top right (first pic)is the BFG KO2s 275/60/20 (still with the non ORP springs with a slight rub at full turn in reverse)
- (Not...
I just installed the 5100s #5 setting (on the fronts only) yesterday on my BTS (so it has the ORP). The final measurements from the bottom of the wheel well openings strait down the center of the wheel to the ground are 39 & 3/4" at the front and 40" at the rear. The only other factor is that I...
I measured from the bottom of the fender directly in line with the center of the wheel, down to a flat and level surface (my garage). After the recall(they replaced all 4 springs), I picked up 1.25" at each wheel. I'm running 275/60/20 BFG KO2's and the current measurements using the above...
My 5100's were ordered Thursday, shipped Friday and delivered Tuesday with free shipping from Bilsteinlifts. So I contacted the dealer for the install since they are only 1 mile from the house. (already knowing it would be more expensive but..) I asked for just an install quote with an...
Just an update on the above post. I did get the recall work completed by that Friday and picked it up after work that day. It did take a full five days, but the good news is that my truck now drives as it should have for the last 14,000 miles(13 months). The work completed seems to be of good...
and... I'm still waiting to get my truck back from the dealer. I dropped it off Monday 0645 for the recall on the springs and there it still sits:cautious:. I made the appointment last week, they said a loaner would be waiting for me when I drop it off, of course it wasn't, and I was an hour...
I have only seen one other BTS edition in over a year by me and it was Gator as well. I figured it would be way more common since they were built in sterling heights(45 mins away from me).
From what I understand, #5 is the max setting if you have the factory 1" lift (Off Road Package). I don't know if you can use the #7 setting if you have a standard 4x4.
I'm not sure, I didn't ask. I figured they simply got in another set of non ORP springs since they asked if I wanted to pick it up until the "other parts" came in. As long as it's covered and I have a free loaner, I'm ok with it as long as it gets done right.
