Glad they fixed it for you. So the Uconnect head unit was bad, interesting. Were you still under warranty for the free repair? I’m out if my 3yr/36k but under 5yr/60k and have already got a case with ram care. Trying to get it fixed for free as well because I don’t know if the 4 speakers ever...
I’ve already got a case # with Ramcare and I’m pushing for a lifetime warranty on my truck for the rear glass assy. Just initiated it so working through the process. Ramcare rep I spoke with is advocating on my behalf as this is completely unacceptable. Hope that the higher ups approve.
The Uconnect folks pulled the same and said go to the dealer however what is still unknown is the 11.46.1 software version. Uconnect told me that they couldn’t confirm that version is even legit so waiting on a call back. If it turns out the factory or dealer didn’t install correct software...
Personally I would call Uconnect cs and tell them your issue. They are telling me to take it to a dealer because only they can update. I’m not paying for am update that should have been done if that is the case. Talk to a supervisor. I also started a claim with Ramcare to tell them the same...
Just got off the phone with Uconnect because I have the same 11.46.1 that you have. They are calling me back because they say it doesn’t exist so maybe mine and yours was never updated at e dealer prior to purchase? I had to talk to a supervisor at Uconnect to get anywhere fyi
Good day, anybody have any info on why all 4 of the doors 6x9s would stop working but all dash and rear headliner speakers work? Been looking online, called Uconnect with not much luck and I don’t want to take it to the dealer which Uconnect cs recommends. Appreciate any advice thanks.

I’ve had mine replaced twice. First for cracked frame at 3 years and 35k miles, second for slide window seal leak at 57k miles and just under 2 years after first replacement. Not happy at all with quality of this part.

I am looking at independent shops and also maybe doing it myself. I already went out and got real peppermint oil and put some in the engine bay. Can you elaborate on the spray method please? Also, any negative affects spraying electrical or just stick with plastics and metal areas? Thanks!

I get a clunk sound and feel it occasionally when it kick in to 8 cyl from 4 cyl. Not frequent but enough where I don’t like it. Also I get the feeling when in 4 cyl the engine will lug for a few seconds before ot kicks back into 8 cyl. Does not inspire engine reliability long term
