I’m only adding these features so I can run CommaAi. If I could get away with just adding the Abs stuff I would but it seems I have to add all the pieces for it to work.
So to add both Lane assist and ACC all I need is the different ABS and HSU modules and the physical on and off switches plus alpha OBD to program? Mine is a 2022
Unless I’m missing something it seems my truck has all the components for the LKA and the ACC except the physical on and a off buttons. If that is correct then wouldn’t the comma work with my truck? Doesn’t the comma bypass these features and render them nonfunctional while it’s on and in use?
It’s my understanding that when in entry exit mode the bump stops are resting on the rear axle. Does that mean if I remove or shorten the rear bumps ups will the rear the truck go lower when in entry/exit mode?
I know there is a really good thread about adding ACC, Blind spot monitoring, and Lane-assist. I've read through a bunch of it several times and I still come away confused.
I'd like to add Lane-assit to my Laramie. I already have the Auto high-beam control, blind spot and cross-path detection...
This is what I want to do. I can’t see why this would be so hard to do as all the air suspension 1500’s use the same components. It has to be just a programming change.
Thank you for the suggestion, but what I’m really trying to do is get my truck to ride at the same heights as yours. The ORG trucks are 1” taller in all height settings and we loose off-road 2. I’d like to have my truck ride the 1” lower in all settings and also get the off-road 2 setting back.
I just bought a new Laramie with the ORG and I want to bring the tire flush with the fender flares but I want to keep the stock wheels. I really don't like how the tires look tucked inside the fender wells with the flares. On my 2018 bighorn I accomplished this by putting on a set of Cooper AT3...
