I believe I'm having almost the exact same issue as you. I have a Bighorn with 866 miles on it currently and when hard accelerating from stop it seems almost like the transmission "slips" and goes far past the power-band for the hemi.
A buddy of mine has a 2020 Rebel and said he had the same...
I did none of those things. I drove it like I stole it once I left the parking lot. I'll either be trouble-free or using that warranty sooner than expected 🤷♂️
Coming from an 18 Camaro SS that I did the same thing to and is still purring like a kitten 36k later, I'd say it's a nonissue.
Sorry for not getting back sooner. Storms and general ****ty weather prevented me from actually getting the covers installed. I just did it this morning since it was finally warm enough out. I love the look of them, changes the truck completely! Highly suggest the covers if you're still looking...
I just picked up a set of black wheel skins I'm putting on tomorrow. I see you have the same rims, and I can't stand the color. I might switch to OEM black rims this spring once the weather is done being nasty. I'll let ya know how they work...
