How to soft reset 12”UConnect
I haven't tried the negative battery disconnect but disconnecting the positive lead will wipe programs and software which will require dealer reprogramming.- Jrsyborn

DO NOT DISCONNECT THE BATTERY ! It wipes programs and software from the memory. You will have to return to the dealer for reprogramming.- Jrsyborn
