My problem with Dawn Enterprises is that their product is only 4 pieces (i.e., not 8) and thus does not extend onto the bed.
Too bad it's not available in black or body-color, instead of chrome.
RAM Accessories is now offering bodyside rim for Quad Cab - complete to rear wheelwell (i.e., 4 pieces per side). Chrome only. Mimics the Limited trim. Retails at $350. Part number is 82215697.
A new 3rd brake light with bed light at a better angle would be of great interest to me too. Problem is that the current bed light shines too high and does nothing to light up the cargo area/bed floor. All it does is blind me while I'm trying to load motorcycles in my truck bed after dark...
At about 8,000 miles my truck started doing this same single knock when turning the steering wheel either left or right at slower speeds. Today took it to the dealership for them to diagnose and repair this issue. Just got my truck back and the issue was a number of loose fasteners. The...
So, last week asked my U. S. Customer Care person the following question about the issue of these trucks' not raising out of E/E mode when using Key fob: "Would you be able to find out from your colleagues in FCA engineering what the consequences might be to my truck's tires, alignment, or...
No big deal if you remember to toggle it. Owners Manual says nothing about having to raise it manually. This is a design flaw and fault that FCA has chosen not to fix!!! Totally chicken skit position for FCA to take on their "Motor Trend Truck of the Year", one that many customers paid upwards...
Took my truck in to the Dealer last week for this problem and they gave me a copy of a FCA STAR Online Publication case# S1902000003 dated 6-May-2019. Bottom line is FCA knows that the truck will not raise out of Entry/Exit height if it was previously commanded with the key off using the...
No further occurrences of this problem in over 2,000 miles. Dare I say it? This problem has been resolved. Thank you FCA for sticking with it and finding the solution.
Truck back from dealership visit #7 today and was told problem has been resolved. (As FYI, I do have a active case open with FCA US Customer Care for this specific problem with my truck.)
Here is what happened during this visit:
FCA Technical Support Adviser interacted with my RAM Dealership...
Took a jacked-up video of my truck's ongoing intermittent transmission failure and posted it online.
Evidently my spoken word isn't good enough, but this video fortunately did get the attention of the FCA US Customer Care Factory Tech who during my last visit to the dealership failed to...
I chose air suspension to ease loading motorcycles into the bed. It also helped our access into the truck too, but we don't need it now that I had AMP power running boards installed, In fact, now keep truck in NORMAL mode, as when parked the running boards will contact curb in EE or AERO...
My truck has stuck in EE mode at speeds above 15 MPH at least a half dozen times. The truck's suspension is not supposed to perform in this manner. At 15 MPH, the 4-corner air suspension is supposed to automatically raise from EE to Aero mode or Normal mode - based upon which of those two...
Just reviewed our state's Lemon Law, and given the number of visits to my local dealership, my truck now appears to qualify. Wish FCA would own-up to the problem and buy back these dangerous trucks, so we didn't have to now spend even more hours out of our lives navigating the Lemon Law process...
I sat in my driveway for 10 minutes with my truck idling in this failure mode (with D gear selected on incline with brake off and truck not moving) while talking to my local RAM dealer's service adviser and the truck doing absolutely nothing. Then after finally running out of options and issues...
Just today back from the Dealer for appointment number four (4) to resolve this ongoing intermittent problem with my truck not moving after being started then shifted from P into R or D, and then then slamming into R or D gear once engine RPM is raised.
After a thorough investigation and...
Good point; I will see if engaging my seat-belt has any affect on the issue. I am not in the habit of putting on my belt prior to starting or moving my truck. Lots of times, I just need to move it a few feet to load stuff in my bed, so there's no reason for me to belt-up.
Thanks - another...
