They put out a spacer? I bought the 2" Mopar lift and only installed the Fox Shocks - no rear lift hardware. This brought the front up and leveled the truck - but it didn't "lift" the truck. If I had put the rear lift hardware on it would have lifted the entire truck 2" but it would have...
Laramie. Chrome package. Tow mirrors. Moonroof. 6'4" bed. 4x4. 2" Mopar/Fox lift (but I did not put on the rear spacers - so it levels). GatorTrax MX tonneau cover on order.
Unfortunately the Mopar 2" lift does not take the steep rake out of the truck. I installed it but didn't put the rear spacers on - lifting the front only. Now I have Fox shocks all around and the truck is level.
Thank you. My only skepticism is that this vibration feels like a real physical vibration coming through the gas pedal / floor - not just noise. But I will show this Bulletin to the dealer and go over the issue with them. Thanks again.
Thank you. However, on a TSB search I don't see that one. I'm going into the dealer for the ground cable and brake pedal recalls in a few weeks. I will see if they can fix this. If not I might sell this 1500 and buy the new 2500.
I was directed here from another thread. Glad I found this. I have the same issue. I tried turning on Tow/Haul mode to shut off MDS but it had zero effect. I put it in gear lock at 8 and watched to see if it was gear-related, it was not. The vibration seems to be more of an acceleration issue...
I don't see a TSB for this - unless it's related to the brake pedal safety recall (I have an appt to get that fixed 3/15). So the update on my vibration is turning on Tow/Haul mode had zero effect. I put it in gear lock at 8 and watched to see if it was gear-related, it was not. The vibration...
I seem to be having a different vibration problem than everyone on this thread. At around 11K miles I started getting a high frequency vibration at lower speeds when accelerating (25 - 40 MPH). The vibration is unmistakably coming though the gas pedal / floor area - I can feel it in my right...
At first view of the video (red truck) I thought well it's the LT...the low trim version. So I went onto youtube and watched an LTZ trim review video...interior is barely an improvement over the LT. Wow, what a horrible interior. Seems like you have to go Denali or High Country to get...
Wow. I've been thinking about blacking out all the chrome on my truck and plastidip seemed like the only way to do it. But I figured that stuff would only last a year or so or fade from UV exposure. But it sounds like you are saying it's durable, doesn't fade and is great. I'll look into it...
I recommend waiting until you've used and scratched up the bed before you get a bed liner. A bedliner is a way to get a new second bed. And Line-X is the way to go.
I just bought the 2" mopar lift kit. I need to address the leveling issue. I see this links to a 2.5" front leveling spacer for the 2018 Ram. Rough Country has a 2" front leveling spacer for the 2019 Ram too. Just want to be sure you have the 2.5" older spacer not the 2" newer spacer?
Had a request for more pictures. Here are a few I snapped when I first got it a few weeks ago.
