RC 5" Lift to ReadyLift 6" Conversion Advice

So I might have not used my brain initially apparently as I was only looking at doing this one specific way. In the photo attached, I was trying to put the Daystar spacer on top of the airbag spacer that came with the RC lift. This was purely out of laziness. Those studs in the RC spacer were...

RC 5" Lift to ReadyLift 6" Conversion Advice

The studs for the RC airbag spacer are pressed in. My only option is to rethread the inside of the stud extenders that come with the Daystar kit. To answer your question, yes. Right now I just have the RC 5 inch spacers and I also have the Revel links to fool the truck into riding around in...

RC 5" Lift to ReadyLift 6" Conversion Advice

Hey y'all, so I currently have the Rough Country 5 inch lift for Air Ride and I tried installing the Daystar front leveling pucks to take some pressure off the airbags while also running the Revel links. Problem is, the Daystar threads are different than the stud threads on the RC bag spacers so...

    Air suspension lift options

I went with the only lift available at the time when I first bought my truck, which was the RC 5" kit. Shortly after, BDS came out with their 4" and then Readylift came out with a 6". I saw it mentioned that Revel was using RC lifts in their kits and I haven't seen any evidence of that. I'm...

Dead battery, now ABS, ESC, etc. lights on.

I had a Tazer DT installed. Caused more trouble than it was worth. Now it's just a useless expensive piece of plastic in the glove box. Haven't had a single issue since removing it a year ago.

    Hellwig? Hell, yeah!

Pretty sure all trims come with them. Probably not "inferior" per se but the hellwig does offer a noticeable upgrade over stock. I'm sure the new 1" bar is slightly better than their original 7/8"bar. It definitely helps out a lot once the truck is lifted. I just disconnect it when going out on...

    Hellwig? Hell, yeah!

Yeah I'm not sure how much the front sway bar impacts the handling as I noticed a big difference just changing the rear. As far as the end links, I have the ones that came with my lift currently and they're just so thin. I'm changing out a lot of the rear suspension components with a 7 piece kit...

    Hellwig? Hell, yeah!

I'm also about to order a bunch of stuff from core 4x4. I'm happy with my 7709 on the stiffest setting but wouldn't mind upgrading to the 1" bar and seeing if it makes anymore difference. About to be going up to 37s soon so maybe it helps more.

    Front Skid Plate

Does the RCI kit work with lift kits? Or is it meant to be installed only on a non lifted stock truck?

    Hellwig? Hell, yeah!

Damn it, now I feel like I have to swap it out for the thicker bar. Did they also upgrade the front one? I never changed it out but if I'm going to upgrade the rear a second time I might as well do the front this go around as well.

6" lift on a with 37s performance report?

Ahh yeah I was thinking about that backwards. Damn, custom light pods it is then. Did you install the body lift yourself? How was it? Just wondering what the "got yas" are as I have seen quite a few complaints about bolts being wrong or bumper brackets not working. Assuming most are running the...

6" lift on a with 37s performance report?

I've said it before but man that's a beautiful build. I have my 37x13.5r22 Ridge grapplers coming in a couple weeks. I finally found a local 5th gen on a 6" lift with 22x12 -44 and 37s and he made it work with minor pinch weld trimming so I finally pulled the trigger. I'm on a 5" lift for the...

6" lift on a with 37s performance report?

I figured that with the tow hooks. I'm going to see if I can source a longer bolt and just use some spacers to drop the tow hooks back down, similar to the spacers that come in the carrier bolt drop kit. I'll never actually use the front tow hooks for anything so I'm not worried about...

6" lift on a with 37s performance report?

With the body lift, did you lose the front bumper tow hooks? Or did you not have them to begin with? Also, do the power side steps go up with the body lift or will there be a gap between them and the cab when they're not in use? (Looks like they mount to the body so probably not an issue)...

6" lift on a with 37s performance report?

Damn that looks good! I am almost due for tires and I've been going back and forth trying to determine what I wanna do. I've been wanting to go to 37s cuz I feel the 35s just look awkwardly small. I'm looking at some 22x12 - 44 wheels and some 37x13.5 Ridge Grapplers. I have the air ride so only...

    Aftermarket Subwoofer and Amplifier

Haven't done car audio install since the old days where it was super easy to swap head units and run all your own wiring. With the 12" screen and HK sound system, does the amppro ap4 ch41 just connect to the head unit harness and then you can run RCA to an amp? Just looking to remove factory sub...

BDS 4 inch w/Air Ride - 6 months and still waiting

Did anyone install the BDS UCA on their air ride ram as well? On their website, it specifically states they won't work due to frame variations on the air ride models. And their support just mimics the same wording so I was hoping someone out there has tested then and they actually do work. If...

Dead battery, now ABS, ESC, etc. lights on.

Honestly, I just removed the damn thing because I was sick of dealing with issues. After they reset the ABS module, most of the issues went away. Then the UConnect did an update and that fixed the remaining issues. But every once in a while I would come out to a dead battery for some reason...

Dead battery, now ABS, ESC, etc. lights on.

I'm assuming this has never been figured out? I just had the same issue. I travel alot for work, was gone for 3 weeks, come home and the battery was dead. The sidesteps come down, dash lights up but engine won't crank over. Measured the battery at 7.6V. So I charged it, started it up and got all...

    87 Octane

As everyone else has stated, 87 (or 85 for higher altitude) is still fine. I've run multiple tests with all octanes and all the results are the same. Same mpg. If there is a slight power decrease, I don't feel it. However, you will notice the knocking/pinging if towing heavy loads on 87. With...
