These are the only pics I have at the moment. The silver part is the back of the 8.4” screen and the other pic is the connector that doesn’t plug into the 12” screen.
Did you see my previous post? I had the same issue until I switched out the actual silver radio behind the screen. The radio unit I replaced mine with came from the same truck that I got the 12” screen from. Are you trying to use the unit that came stock with your truck?
That connector plugs into and powers the physical controls on trucks with the 8.4 screen. Even with it left unplugged, the physical A/C controls still work on the 12.1”. The only things that didn’t work for me are the audio volume knobs and the radio tuning knobs.
I just realized I misunderstood your question. I swapped out the set of toggle switches that came with the screen with the set from my truck. It’s held in with screws so it’s easy to swap out. It works as it should.

I actually just did this conversion on my Laramie, except I used a Longhorn grill instead of the Limited. You will need the headlights, grill, chrome trim pieces that go under the headlights and new fascia pieces since they’re slightly different. It wasn’t cheap, but it looks a lot better in my...
Hello,
Does anyone know if it’s possible to have the LED accents above and below the headlights on during the day as DRLs like the Grand Cherokees? The only option I’ve found for DRLs is to have the actual headlights on.
Thanks
