Like I mentioned, I had compustar immobilizer installed and it's working fairly good. It's an electronic kill switch essentially. The thing I like about this one, is if someone opens the door with the fob, and the immobilizer is engaged, it'll notify me in a few ways. One the fob goes nuts with...
LOL, I don't disagree man. Heaven forbid I could have a gun to protect myself. Our government don't care about us, and ban the crap out of them. What gives?
I don't disagree. Well, look who we have running the 2 countries man. They just caught around 6 guys for car theft, 3 of them were out on bail for car theft. It's a joke man. I hate it man.
Hey guys, Hope all is well.
I figured I'd come here and tell you all my story about my stolen 2021 Ram Rebel. I live in Toronto, Canada, and there's a ton of this happening all over the city. It's crazy, I'd say everyone probably knows someone who's had a stolen car. It's really bad right...
lol, unfortunately I don't have your problem, but then again, I'm not in my 50's with a beer gut like most here. This thread has accomplished absolutely f all, too be quite honest. Hopefully this doesn't happen to any of you. Maybe then, you'd know what it feels like. Yes, warranty will fix it...
I know I won't get a new truck out of it. Too be honest, I wish I never mentioned it because not once have I ever hit Chrysler up for a new truck, let alone mentioned anything to the dealer about that topic. Some people I believe are taking me literally when I said that. Anyway.....
I...
Ahhh, so what you're saying is I need to grow up? You're the only one out of how many guys here replying to my problem, and instead of giving me some sort of advice, you'd rather talk about my faults. Luckily, we aren't all perfect like you buddy. Unreal man. Just because you used to be this...
Okay, thank you so much for your advice. I respect that and it's truly appreciated. I don't know what ram cares is, but I'll look into that. Thanks so much. Honestly. I will be on them as soon as the week starts. I will keep you guys posted on what happens. Just sucks, I shouldn't have to be...
I appreciate it man, it does suck. I was told from the dealer that the next steps are to see what engineering wants them to do. They may say swap only the valve body and not the transmission, or vice versa. I want the whole thing changed out, just on the fact that there's debris in my tranny oil...
I agree, and it will be dealt with accordingly. I will say the dealership should have never given me that truck back after finding debris in the oil. I will be screaming for a new transmission swap, based on that alone. Am I being unfair asking for a new one?
I understand. Not sure why you felt the need to say that. Just because I mention how much the truck is.
Ya, that's exactly what I was told from the dealer.
Take it easy man. I didn't say I'd get a new truck out of it, so I'm not sure why you're going off about it. I mentioned it at first knowing the entire time that it would never happen. Was just mentioned man. Relax. I understand it happens. It's mechanical. All mechanical parts will break, I...
Thanks for your reply. No fluid change, they're telling me there is no such thing on these newer rams. There's no way to check the level of the tranny oil other than going underneath and unscrew the plug. If a little oil drips out, your tranny fluid is full. The talk right now is between the...
Hi, I'm a millwright by trade and I know what's involved in a job like this. Will I get a new truck? hell no, I know it won't happen. It's just something that would be nice lol. When you think of a $70,000 truck, with only 21,000km on it. This should never happen. I'm sure you can put yourself...
