You got a valid point there, How about if I just say it's defective, and in case of a roll over it may or may not do its job.

With knowing that, and it a molded unservicable part and the new design of the tank, and with how many are going to pot. Why doesn't Ram take care of this? Could it not be a danger if I was in an accident and rolled over??? Idk My rant may help someone some day

Thanks for the comments and suggestions, the tech said that the roll over valve is the problem, so, a new tank it is.

It used to work just like that, but not anymore. I have one station that let's me fill like that, but 95% of all others, it takes forever. Not fun in 20° f weather

Update,,,,,, Well my warranty covers the exhaust manifolds but not the gas tank, due to my coverage level. I did ask advisor is she would check with fca if they could help me since it's a problem with ALOT of Rams

Truck is in the dealership with 2 cracked manifolds and jacked gas tank.....they are contacting warranty company to see if the will fix it. I have over 60000 so let's see if an aftermarket company is worth it. The covered parts include what needs to be fixed. Let's hope it's a go!!!

Update The dealership I have been going to for 10+ years informed me that it's a 50-50 chance that manifold and fuel pump and misc will be covered. Yes, I have the gas filling issue too. So, I got an extended warranty with a 30 day wait period, then it's going in for both issues which will be...

Truck is scheduled, March 27th. Ridiculous really, also having them look at gas filler tube as well, pain in rear on road trip

Yes, and it has been completely out, disconnected and trim ring clips unclipped minus the one in the pic, going to try just the lans as suggested
