Yes, just pry the top up to remove from the sliding base. I started at the rear, although it probably doesn't matter what side you pop free first.

I thought I'd add these pics to this post in case anyone was curious about the retaining tab arrangement on a Limited or Longhorn center sliding console.
The first time I saw that trim panel I thought the same thing: "It's printed on there, how cheesy!" I don't remember where I read this, but that is actually real leather and the design is laser etched into it. I still think it should've been embroidered, but I feel a little better knowing it...
