You may not want the steps to deploy if there is something in the way like a big rock, stump or whatever. Would be nice to turn off the power step if you need to.

Thanks for the info. If you mean to have the dealer do a search for a Rebel 12 at another dealership somewhere I'll probably lean towards getting my money back since the order will not happen. I'm not in a hurry and want what I was trying to order. Thanks again.

I tried to order without Rambox on Nov. 4th. After almost 2 weeks I called dealer and they still did not order it. I added the Rambox at that point. Not knowing the delay. Now it's been over a month since I first tried to order.
