2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

You'll love the Bedrug. For the way most people use trucks, it's ideal! On my current Ram, I have the factory spray in and for this trucks use - it's perfect!

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Fingers crossed that fixes it! I really hope the electrical gremlins that plagued many of the early '25s are long gone.

Question for Limited owners who purchased a Tungsten

My current truck is my sixth pickup, third Ram, but first with Ramboxes. I didn't plan on buying one with them but could not pass up this truck. Three years in - I LOVE them. You don't lose much bed size and the divider is very helpful. Plus great out of sight storage when you need it.

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Hopefully it doesn't go the way of the on board power that's just disappeared.

Question for Limited owners who purchased a Tungsten

Sell or trade the 22s once you get the truck in. 20s and 22s take offs are often for sale on here or Facebook marketplace.

Question for Limited owners who purchased a Tungsten

Limited's have had 22s as an option for years, my 2019 has them. No issues with the ride.

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

I do it in my company car every time I start it up!

    Price negotiated from MSRP

At that point just order a truck so your name is on the window sticker.

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

IMO screw the money, give us the trucks without the start stop!

    Price negotiated from MSRP

Look at the sheet metal between the back of the cab and the rear tire. It's a quick, easy way to determine bed length. Once you see a long bed, you'll know.

    Draining the radiator

Good call! I bought the OEM part and didn't need it, thankfully. Wait, I bought two. Shipping was a bit so why not buy a spare to gather dust LOL.

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Some GMs made during covid didn't have it, it's listed on the window sticker as "deleted" and IIRC, a $50 credit.

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

This is the 2025 thread so I was thinking Hurricane's (and I also hate the stop/start BS).

    Hemi Coolant Drain Capacity

Not even that much. I'm thinking I had two gallons on hand when I did mine.

    Hemi s Back

Aren't more options a good thing? As said above, Ford sells a bunch of V8s as does GM. Now Ram will be an option for the V8 buyers. I'll never own a Hemi with the eTorque, but it'll be a few years before I'm looking for a new truck. By then I bet the '25 teeth issues are all figured out...

    Struggling to locate battery drain

Lemon law it. The battery on my '19 lasted over 6 years!

    Struggling to locate battery drain

@Cygnus A if it is your original battery just replace it. I had to replace mine a few months ago, even died after keeping it on the charger. But it had a good LONG run!

    Struggling to locate battery drain

If I go a few weeks without driving I put the battery tender on it. But that's likely what you'd need to do with any modern vehicle.

2wd light on all the time

A light is always on, on that unit, to tell what mode your in. If you try to shift to 4x4 and it blinks then reverts/stays in 2wd your shift actuator is likely gone (about $100 and ten minutes to change).
