    3 1/2 in. Lift on ram 1500 with 35/12.5/20

Here’s a picture I just took now. It very rarely looks to be nose high if ever at all. Hope this helps.

    3 1/2 in. Lift on ram 1500 with 35/12.5/20

Hey Chuck, I don’t see on the RC website where it says the rear spacers are 1”. I’d give them a call to really be sure, they’re readily available and answer their own phone calls and have good customer service. Based on the description and pictures on their site, the kit, unaltered, should...

    3 1/2 in. Lift on ram 1500 with 35/12.5/20

Hey Chuck, I really appreciate that. Thank you. I have been extremely happy with this setup. It looks phenomenal and I’ve had zero quality issues with anything so far. You’ve had some great setups in the past it looks like. I used to be in the Land Cruiser/GX off-road scene and OME suspension is...

    3 1/2 in. Lift on ram 1500 with 35/12.5/20

Thank you very much, I appreciate that! Parts and install for the lift was $1800. Yes, I am a fan of Readylift but I did not want to have to use spacers and the RC struts offered a perfect alternative. They have been great so far. No issues. 11,000 miles on the truck now.

No I only used the springs.

    3 1/2 in. Lift on ram 1500 with 35/12.5/20

Great question! You are correct, I am only using the Icon springs in the rear, trashed the rear blocks from the kit. I’m not sure what their height was but I can say the rear sits about 1/2” lower than the front with this set up. I didn’t want to have to use any spacers, that was my main...

    3 1/2 in. Lift on ram 1500 with 35/12.5/20

They ride great on the highway. Very planted feeling. Haven’t hauled or towed anything yet but with an empty bed, they’re very nice to ride on.

My set up: 1) Rough country 3.5” lift kit, upgraded to the N3 front struts, and upgraded rear shocks to monotube V2’s. price: $1,099 https://www.roughcountry.com/dodge-suspension-lift-kit-31430c.html 2) Icon 1.5” lift rear dual rate springs Price: $279.99...

    3 1/2 in. Lift on ram 1500 with 35/12.5/20

Thanks, I really appreciate that. 👍 The ride is really great. The truck feels much more planted now and less of that stock floating/rocking feeling. You do feel more of the little imperfections that you drive over but it’s not jarring and the new suspension soaks it up well. Now I can’t speak...

    3 1/2 in. Lift on ram 1500 with 35/12.5/20

Here you go with some pics. I am immensely impressed and this look and lift kit exceeded my expectations in every way. The shop did not mention anything to me about having to trim to prevent rubbing but there is NO run and I do not see any change in the wheel wells at all. Let me know if you...

    3 1/2 in. Lift on ram 1500 with 35/12.5/20

Hey there! So I’ve got the Rough country 3.5” lift with upgraded front struts and mono tube rear shocks going on my truck Thursday with Raceline Gauge wheels 0 offset and 35x12.5 Ridge Grapplers. So I’ll post some pics right here once it goes on 👍

Best mid budget suspension upgrade for daily hwy driving and mild offroading

Also having them throw on a set of the Icon dual rate rear springs instead of using the spacers from the RC kit.

Best mid budget suspension upgrade for daily hwy driving and mild offroading

Thanks for the input everyone, I really appreciate it. Here’s a small update: 1) I have ordered the Rough country 3.5” kit with the front struts and upgraded V2 mono tube rear shocks. Ordered through my shop, parts, labor and alignment: $1500. 2) Gibson has shipped my cat back system. Should be...

Best mid budget suspension upgrade for daily hwy driving and mild offroading

They told me that $2400 would be the retail and full install price but would do it for $1950 which still seems steep. For $2400, I’d tell them to go pound sand.

Best mid budget suspension upgrade for daily hwy driving and mild offroading

Dealer quoted $1950 installed price for the RC lift with struts and v2 mono tubes in rear. Thoughts? Around $750 of that would be for labor. Never had a dealer install a lift kit before. Thanks.

    2020 Ram 1500 Laramie Build

Truck looks awesome! How are you liking the ride with the fox 2in lift? Do you know if they had to do any trimming to get your tires to fit? Thanks!

Best mid budget suspension upgrade for daily hwy driving and mild offroading

Everyone please give your input...I just stumbled upon this and not sure if it's brand new or i missed it somehow.. But Rough Country offers fully built coilovers now on their 3.5in lift! $1100 for the full kit with upgraded rear shocks to V2 monotubes as well. Thoughts on this?? My finger is on...

Best mid budget suspension upgrade for daily hwy driving and mild offroading

What they told me was the strut will provide up to 1.8in of lift on its own and when combined with their springs, you get the full 2.75in lift potential.
