    Price negotiated from MSRP

I think I saw February 1st to the end of March. Yeah that's 2 months, but I won't complain.. I'm hoping so, as that's right when I'll be ready to pull the trigger. It seems like dealers are not dealing much at this point in the new year. The end of January might be a different story, and...

    Rebel Gas Hog

Well, you are literally getting zero mpg if the engine is running and you are not moving. ;)

    Rebel Gas Hog

The off road package has the same skid plates and get much better mpg than the rebels are getting. I think the duratracs are a big factor in the lower mpgvs the non rebel trucks. The 3.92 great ratio doesn't help either.

    Price negotiated from MSRP

There's a lot of great reading in this thread. It's been so cold out recently that I don't want to test drive the 3.21 equipped hemi but I'm also not quite at the point where I'll be pulling the trigger. I'm waiting for the truck month deals to start as well.

    ETorque Issue

Yeah, I work with a ton of engineers. They can get kinda spacey. I get it, they get drug in a lot of directions every day.

MPG effect of 3.92 rear end

Not yet. I plan to fairly soon

    ETorque Issue

20-30 gallons of gas in a 6000 lb package rolling at 70 mph is kind of dangerous all on its own. ;) I would think that engineering would have a lot of safety features built in on the 48 v battery.

    Air Ride system

I've done that by forcing my Audi's air suspension into lower than the lowest factory setting. There's programming that can do it on my car, surely one will come up with a programmer to set the suspension at a particular ride height.

    ETorque Issue

Sure, could be a simple lack of parts, due to high demand, or that the components are in quality containment, causing the lack of availability. It does appear that there are many reflashes and reprorammings going on by FCA, and guys results are being seen by some, so that's good news.

    ETorque Issue

In some states, like mine, it's not even an amount of time. Here, it is a matter of attempts to fix the problem. The last time I had looked, after a third attempt that didn't fix the problem then it can be lemon lawed. Regarding etorque, it's great that they have stopped making them until...

Thinking of trading 15' F150 3.5 ecoboost for a new Ram 1500! What say you?

I believe that. Mind you that the 2011 F-150 had a 6 spd auto. You had an 8 spd in your 2014 ram. I also see that 2019 Rams with 3.92's and hemi are not getting the mpg that 4th gen Rams with the 3.92 and hemi are/ were.

    ETorque Issue

Being a Senior Corporate Buyer myself, that scares the **** out of me. The ignition switch debacle at GM is one of the multiple things that gm has done over the years that has me irate about practices that they have done over the years. GM, historically has allowed corporate bean counters to...

Thinking of trading 15' F150 3.5 ecoboost for a new Ram 1500! What say you?

Laramie, or Laramie longhorn would be the two choices that could compare to the lariat. There's trade-offs in both the Ford and the ram. The 3.92's in the ram do tow well, but mpg is not what they advertise it to be in real world. Granted, an ecoboost always in the boost towing big stuff isn't...

    Ford Owner But Like Rebel

It's better than the "all new" GM's.

Some ways no, some ways yes. The drivetrain is a lot better in the 5.0, and there's a normal column or console shifter. The Ford will be faster, and more efficient, but the ram does have a nicer overall interior, and the ram boxes are awesome. There's always trade-offs. No new truck interior is...

I'd say you could get an XL 5.0 and the Roush package for what a hemi rebel goes for. They'd be almost comparable interior wise, but the suspension is on a much higher level on the Roush. If you go up to an xlt or lariat, then..... Yes, the sport Laramie is a nicer interior than the rebel, is...

You can buy a 3.21 geared ram now. You just can't buy a rebel with the 3.21, as the only option is 3.92. if you want the off road package, click on that, if you want the monochromatic paint, get a sport package, or the north edition. Those are all out on the lots/ordering now

    3.21 vs 3.92

Did you have the 3.92 gears put in your 5.0 aftermarket? I've only seen 3.73 as the biggest numerical gear ratio. 3.31, 3.55, and 3.73 are all I show ever available from the factory from 2015+. Now, since you mentioned quickness, the 3.92 geared 4x4 hemi 2019's are 0-60 in the 6.6 second...

    Ford Owner But Like Rebel

Well, the 3.92 should accelerate a little faster and tow heavy loads a little better vs the 3.21 due to the gearing helping more with braking. Unless you are towing towards the top of the ratings, you'll never see any difference. Especially if you have trailer brakes. Since you did say that...

Yeah, the raptor is in a different league. Unless you order one that's only got the options you want, almost all of them are loaded to the gills. A crew cab raptor starts at 57,400. They do get amazingly good mpg for what it is, a 450 hp 510 tq off road truck. A Roush F-150 is more...
