Take a look at the American Roll Cover with their Rack System: https://www.truckcoversusa.com/american-rack-system/
Anything you could construct from a Yakima rail base could be added at the back, and it would be removeable. I guess the only concern would be weight rating.
This is a bit of a repost from the "what did you do to your Ram today" thread for this accessories group.
Yesterday I installed an American Roll Cover from Trucks USA: https://www.truckcoversusa.com/american-roll-cover/
The key selling point for me was the Rack system, which allows for...
It is an American Roll Cover from Trucks USA: https://www.truckcoversusa.com/american-roll-cover/
The key selling point for me was the Rack system: https://www.truckcoversusa.com/american-rack-system/
I ordered it with the racks pre-installed on the rails but otherwise unassembled from a...
Replaced my tri-fold Lomax (OEM for Weathertech) with an American Roll Cover. From what I could find this was the only cover which fits on a Rambox-equipped truck and includes Yakima-compatible rails for adding racks.
Any idea if the 2500/3500 Rambox version will fit a 1500 w/Ramboxes?

I just ordered an American Roll Cover made by Truck Covers USA for my Rambox-equipped 1500 because it has an option for Yakima rails. 3-4 week delivery time. It's not cheap (around $2500 with shipping and taxes) but it appears to be good quality based on online reviews and information from the...
Interesting, my Lomax came with little flaps which somewhat help. I'm considering upgrading to the Diamondback so this is good info. I wonder if you can get replacement flaps from Lomax (or Weathertech, who OEMs the Lomax cover).
Bakflip has the feature where the last section folds up. I used that on my 2013. I went with Lomax (OEM for Weathertech) and it has been better about keeping out water compared to my Bakflip, though they may have improved it since the one I had on my last truck.
As for bed liner, I always get...
I'm highly interested in something like this, and this does seem to be the best option out there (though I'd prefer a more aggressive look). I also have the Lomax cover and am confused about what is blocking it since the crossmembers appear to be tall enough for the panel to clear. Are the...
Any real-world experience taking the Hellwig offroad? That's the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger...I camp in some spots which push the limit of my truck and don't want to limit my capabilities. Of course I'm on the road the vast majority of the time so if it's just a matter of putting...
I have a ~10 month old 2020 and this same seemingly suspension-based squeak developed recently (a month or two ago and seems related to going over bumps regardless of braking). Low mileage at only 6100. I've been getting increasingly annoyed with the noise and have been considering taking it...
