Is it possible to add Blind Spot?

Do the Recon tail lights come with blind spot sensors? Or do you have to supply your own OEM modules? Their website doesn’t really say.

Is it possible to add Blind Spot?

Thank you for the detailed pricing! Very helpful. Can I ask where you got your OEM taillights from? I'm mostly seeing prices of about $600 each. The shop you got yours from is much better!

Is it possible to add Blind Spot?

I would be very very interested in how to adapt the XY400 connector! Either in the howto or by PM, whichever is easier. This project is on my spring todo list once the truck isn’t covered in snow anymore.

    Limited level one equipment group

I recently purchased a 2021 Laramie (not Limited), so I can't answer your question specifically. However, I can say that you need to read and re-read the fine print on the window sticker about any particular option package for 2021 and 2022 vehicles. Due to parts availability, various things...

    Ram 1500 v6 - axle swap 3.21 to 3.55

Based on the discussion here, I have decided not to pursue this. However, for the sake of my education, could you please help me to better understand the situation with axle ratios? My v6 Laramie 1500 with 3.21 axle ratio has a max towing capacity of about 6400lbs, with a GCWR of 11,900. The...

    Ram 1500 v6 - axle swap 3.21 to 3.55

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think you’ve talked me out of it.

    Ram 1500 v6 - axle swap 3.21 to 3.55

Thanks for the advice everyone. I understand I'm only gaining 1,000lbs towing capacity and the cost will be around $2500. Normally I'd just swap the truck for a Hemi but in this market the cost differential is crazy high (~$15,000 from multiple dealers) and it seems like it will stay this way...

    Ram 1500 v6 - axle swap 3.21 to 3.55

No, 3.21 is the default for the v6. 3.55 was an option. My window sticker says I have the 3.21.

    Ram 1500 v6 - axle swap 3.21 to 3.55

About a year ago I purchased a 2020 Ram 1500 with the v6 off the dealer lot. It has the standard 3.21 rear axle, which provides 6400lb tow capacity. That was fine at the time. Now I'm looking at occasionally (2-3 times per year) towing some bigger stuff and would like more tow capacity. I've...

What Voltage Should Etorque Be at?

Thanks for the advice, I’m going to replace the battery with a high quality AGM. If I’m installing the battery myself or at an auto parts store, I can have backup power applied to maintain settings but how do I handle your second point about using a scanner to tell the vehicle there’s a new...

What Voltage Should Etorque Be at?

Can you explain your thoughts as to why the original starting battery might be causing the problem? I’m happy to replace with a quality AGM just want to better understand what’s causing the issue with the start / stop system.

What Voltage Should Etorque Be at?

I might try that, although the problem is currently hit or miss so I’d still be nervous about towing any distance if the battery isn’t the problem.

What Voltage Should Etorque Be at?

I’ve had a difficult electrical issue and I’m wondering if it could be battery related. Truck is a 2020 Ram 1500 with the 3.6L eTorque. 5,000 miles. Occasionally the start/stop system will become unavailable and display the yellow alert on the dash. The truck will start to run rough and shake...
