For those of you that removed it, have you noticed an increase in wind noise or a decrease in mpg? Looks better for sure, just wondering what the cons are if any.

I believe it was $550 for labor only on my 3.5 SST Kit, HTW in Upland, CA. This was two years ago, purchased the kit on Amazon and brought it into them. Also purchased the wheels / tires through them so maybe they cut me a deal on the labor.

About 10k miles on my 3.5 SST kit, no issues. Might get a rear swaybar as sometimes it wanders a little over uneven pavement or freeway transitions.

4X4 crew cab with the 5’7” bed, 3.92 gears, standard size tank, worst average for the tank hand calculated is 24, best is about 29, EcoDiesel of course. Almost 9k miles on it, no issues so far.

Please keep this thread updated with possible fixes, my 2020 big horn 4x4 has this not quite as bad as OP but still annoying since I barely cracked 1k miles on it.

Aside from turbo lag it’s nice, 2020 Big Horn crew cab 4x4 with ED/3.92’s. First tank was 26+ mpg hand calculated. Should get better as the motor breaks in.

Purchased maybe three weeks back, only 600 miles so far. I’ve been chasing a squeak sound that’s coming from the driver side suspension or something, very noticeable and annoying. Aside from that got 26mpg the first tank so that’s nice. 2020 BigHorn Crew Cab 4X4 with the EcoDiesel.

For those that got rid of their creak/squeak do you have any other pictures of the fix? Crawled under the drivers floorboard as suggested and I can’t find anything that looks remotely like the pictures in this thread. Do I have to remove a skid or something to access the wiring loom? Eco diesel...
Went from a 2018 4Runner TRD Off-Road to a 2020 BigHorn EcoDiesel. No regrets so far, didn’t use the 4Runner as much as I wanted Offroad, the locker did come in handy a few times. Kids are much happier in the crew cab, way more room. A lot more power, and much better mpg. My 4Runner has a...
