Are PCM/TCM software updates common with these trucks? I’ve had mine since Jul20 and just had it done at the dealer. Tranny seems to have been jerking when coming to a stop in colder weather and the center display chimes and shows shift to park. Dealer said if needs a software update…. I’m confused.

If you have the off road package, yes, it is recommend to not use the preloaded spacers. Kit comes with two plates for the rear to keep that distance the same.

I don’t have that, could take it to auto zone and see if they could check for error codes. There’s no way I’d throw it in park while driving. I did that once as a teen in my 84 prelude, lesson learned.

No it’s not. Pretty lost myself, can’t find anything online. Other people I’ve asked said pushing the -/+ buttons wouldn’t cause that and others said it could if I was going to slow or fast... just took it around town and everything seems okay.

Thank you. I’m not 100% sure the height of the top hat spacer, for sure not 2” though. Most likely 1.5”. I believe the 2” come from the larger sprig and shock due to the off road package. That’s correct it’s the 3.5 RL without the front preloaded spacer.

Yes they go over the existing half liners. Just loosen the screws that are currently there. Remove the one screw from the rear liner completely. Once that’s done you can go ahead and insert the liner. Put the push pin in and align the rear hole in the liner with the hole in the existing liner...
