Thank you! It’s the Mopar matte black bug deflector ordered through the dealer. Bought a new bumper and had it painted. 300 for the new bumper and 300 for the paint job and I installed it myself. I did do a small wrap job on the bumper in satin black to continue the fender flare line down to the...
Initially, I was individually pealing the lettering off completely and trying to line it up. Then I realized 1500 could stay on the transparent sheet to line up the adhesive side properly. Hemi 5.7L was definitely the painful part because I had to peel it off and drop it inside while it wouldn’t...
Applied reflective red lettering on the hood bezels from Reflective Concepts. A surprisingly stressful job trying to get them to line up properly. They gave some extras in case I messed up though.
Also got some fender vents installed from Air Design USA. Took it to a body shop since it...
Started off with a basic chrome package but worked my butt off to look like a Laramie sport. Can I hang out with you guys?

Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll be sure to check it out. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the initial shiny look with the VRP. Just wanted it to be black and not brown.
Got a small wrap job done on the bumper to continue the fender line down to the air dam. It helps the two-tone look a bit more complete in my opinion.
Also got a brow tint. Didn’t want it too thick. And I got it for free since the shop saw they’re headlight tint was starting to peal.
Really...
Not today, but last week, gave the wheels a good cleaning since they were looking a little rough. Used chemical guys Diablo wheel cleaner and VRP. Here’s the results.
The wheel cleaner didn’t wow me. I don’t think it did much more than a normal car soap couldn’t do. The tires ended up still...
Woke up early to beat the heat and dipped my chrome tow hooks. Can barely see them anymore lol.
Thinking of going red hooks, red bezel inlays, and red caliper covers to go with the random red tail lights? Thoughts?
Officially completed the chrome delete today. Decided to plastidip my chrome recovery hooks. Hopefully I’ll never have to use them but if I do it’s not like I broke the bank to do this.
So... I couldn’t, for the life of me, unscrew the bolts on the hooks and this is what kept me from doing...
Here’s the Mopar. I went with it because it matched the satin black color scheme I was going for. I don’t recommend it. Doesn’t cover the entire width. Install was nauseating from opening the box to finish. It’s held on by 4 screws that secure into factory holes under the weatherstripping (good)...
Are these the noises you guys are getting?
If so, I took my truck to the dealer 3 times and they never replicated the issue. Got in contact with RamCares and that motivated them to try a little harder the fourth time. Dealer told me FCA engineers were aware of the problem but there’s no...
Had the dealer recalibrate the truck for 34 inch tires. They charged me an hours worth of labor which ended up being $133 with tax. It shifts a lot smoother now. Guzzles more gas. But at least it knows which gear it wants to be in. The speedometer seems to still be off a 2-5 mph according to my...
Lol this is this ruining it for you? It’s okay cuz it’s frustrating my gf as well. I’m not sure what I’m doing yet because this was a chrome delete and spent some cash already for a new bumper and paint. So it kind of hurts to wrap or paint over it. I’m thinking of continuing the fender wrap...
