I had a similar experience with Keffer. Very old school thinking. Maybe being close to the city they act differently than rural or suburban dealers. I had a great experience with Capital CDJR in Indian Trail when I ordered mine ... so much so that I was skeptical they were hiding something. I...
Having replaced mine with the Borla, I was shocked at how constricting the OEM exhaust is. I'm sure you'd have improvement with just the muffler - but the full catback system is not out of place. This coming from a 51-year-old father in a white collar job that doesn't want to be mistaken for a...
I love my truck and custom ordered it because I couldn't find the combination of items that I wanted on a lot. I didn't think I was being too picky, but apparently so.
For me, I tow long distances several times a year, so there are a few items that have been amazing.
*33 gallon tank (should...
I do not use a WDH at the direction of my trailer manufacturer. It is an all aluminum enclosed car hauler and WDH would potentially damage the trailer.
The other problem I'm seeing with trucks on lots is there are very few that have the tow mirrors from the factory. I'm looking into integrated...
I currently own a '21 Longhorn with air suspension and love the way it tows. For reasons not necessary to get into here, I may need to get a new truck and am considering a Rebel. It's difficult to find a Rebel with Air Suspension, though it could be custom ordered that way.
My question is - how...
I'm two months into ownership and love driving my Longhorn. It performs as advertised and towed my enclosed car trailer to a track event with no problem.
I do have several annoying gremlins, that are entirely related to electronics. These started from day one and I pointed them out to dealer...
No. Everything fit like a glove.
I did have to cut the OEM exhaust in order to remove it, but many say they have to do that anyway. It was easier to put the Borla on than to take off the OEM.
This isn't worthy of my own thread, but sharing here for others' benefit. The installation was a fun Veteran's Day activity in the rain and the result is exactly what I wanted.
I just installed my S-Type. Wow, what a great exhaust! The sound is deeper, more menacing, but not overly loud. Driving on the highway is is barely noticeable. No intrusion or affect on conversations or listening to music. In fact, I opened the rear window in an effort to hear more. The only...
So frustrated over here. I ordered my truck 7/22 and got a VIN two days later. Through regular check-ins with Ram chat, I learned my truck was finally built on 9/7! Great news.
Then it was moved to storage waiting final inspection. And that's where I still am. I was initially told that the max...
Add another to JS status - apparently we're all hanging out in the warehouse together. Interestingly, my VIN still doesn't pop anything at Cryptosticker or on the Towing/Payload guide on Ram's website.
One of the dealers listed it to me as an option. I ended up not asking for it on the build I ordered, so I cant confirm if it is real or a mistake from that one dealer (I didnt end up buying from the one that mentioned it).
Yes, just call them Longhorns.
Mine ends up being more expensive as a Longhorn than it would be with the same equipment as a Limited. Must be those pure gold belt buckles.
I don't know - those of us with Longhorns are probably waiting extra for them to update the branding iron to say "Limited Longhorn" instead of "Laramie Longhorn" now. ;)
That truck is gorgeous. I’ve ordered a Patriot blue, but a Longhorn so everything black here is chrome. Question: can I replace my chrome parts with these black parts and if so, would it be cost prohibitive on what is already an expensive truck?
