2" - 4" Lift kit with OEM Wheels on ORP

Good move on the wheels! They look good. I kept the factory wheels and my tires rub some.

I hit the north rim of the Grand Canyon then drove past the Vermilion Cliffs on the way to Horseshoe Bend. I should end up in Cortez, CO tonight.

It was gorgeous. The drive down Hwy 24 then Hwy 12 at sunset was one the most beautiful drives I have ever seen. Today I drove in the sand. I aired down to 16 but the heat moved it up to about 18 psi. I drove to peek a boo canyon. It is a slot canyon just north of Kanab. I saw one truck stuck...

I saw Matt from Matt’s Towing Recovery driving down the road in Hurricane, Utah yesterday so I went by his place of business today and they are use to tourists. There was an older lady in front of me getting her picture and buying some shirts and hats. There was another family walking in before...

Is that the stretch that does not have a gas station? I went west on I-70 from Green River and then shot down Utah Hwy 24 through Hanksville on my way to Capital Reef. I crossed the San Rafael River. Next time I will need to checkout your recommendations. Today I hiked Angels Landing in Zion...

Today I drove off pavement through the Smithsonian Butte and through Gooseberry Mesa and the ghost town of Grafton after hiking in Zion. Attached are some photos. BLM recommended not traveling through there but other than some rocky and small rutted out areas it was not bad (probably good advice...

That was a long thread (probably more than most people are interested in), but has anyone driven on the pink sand dunes in the Utah State Park and what recommendations would you give?

I am not still in Moab and now mostly on pavement but since someone asked for pictures and I started this thread I will share more of my overlanding vaction. Before I arrived in Utah I drove up over 12,000 feet above sea level in Rocky Mountain NP and also hiked Bear Lake in Colorado. I did...

I definitely removed the air dam before I left home. I removed the sidesteps on the first day in Moab. Today was a full day on the trails with my two oldest daughters. I used a local guide named John Marshall who is a (I4WDTA) certified off-road driving instructor and owns Coyote land tours. He...

Today I drove Tower Arch trail in Arches on the way to see this. The more technical off road stuff I have is on video and I don’t think I can link that. This was about a 15 mile stretch, only about a half mile was challenging. I got close to the rockers in a few places but did not bottom out...

2" - 4" Lift kit with OEM Wheels on ORP

Just went through this myself. Almost all of the aftermarket UCAs will require less offset. Wheel spacers were highly discouraged for off-road use. The Mopar UCAs for the two inch lift is about the only option you will have if you don’t want to change rims or use a wheel spacer. I would not go...

    Parts numbers for skid plates

So a friend help me put on the skid plates today. The front two were fairly straight forward. The bolts came with one skid plate but not the other two skid plates. You do not have to drop the fuel tank to put on the fuel tank skid plate (the dealership I bought my parts mentioned that I might...

    Control Arms

If you are keeping factory wheels and depending on the size of tire (I.e 35s) I would go with the Mopar ones in the 2 inch lift. Other aftermarket UCAs are better but recommend less of an offset on the wheels with 35 inch tires if you don’t want any rubbing. You could use wheel spacers but I...

    Front Air Dam Removal

If I leave the air dam on and then break it off going over something how will I damage other things that I would not if I took it off?

    Moab

I am working on it. One week before I leave and I will be adding skid plates, a lift, 35s, and tow hooks this week. Power Wagon in Moab will be going on that first week I’ll be out there. The fuel tank skid plate is not in yet and looks a little complicated. I don’t know if that one will make it...

    Seasick

It sounds like you should try everything you want to do to your truck before you buy the hellwig sway bar. Get new wheels, bigger tires, improved sound system, etc. THEN replace the sway bar. There is a different sway bay for a lifted truck as opposed to one at stock height so it was good that...
