Yeah I would agree, plasti dipping the whole bumper feels like a little much. I got painted bumpers for this reason with my limited. My limited had chrome on the badges, trim, and grille, but after debadging ALL the lettering, and swapping out the tail gate and Hemi badges to black, I was happy...

Nah, since the Rims aren’t chrome, just brushed aluminum, I will leave them as they are. They will be the only blinggy thing on the truck, once I black out the grille.
Excited to share customization progress. Since the last update I added a Diamondback bedcover which I added in March, Weather tech splash guards (which are way better then the OME ones I tried), and I have Plasti dipped almost all of the chrome (window trim, door trim, mirrors, and Tailgate...
Man. i just upgraded from my iPhone 6s Plus to an iPhone Xs, and was very excited to take advantage of cable free charging in the Ram . . . but then I forgot about Apple Car Play which I love. So now I need to keep plugging in even though I have a phone that can charge without cables. Please...
Just an update on my exploration on range/fuel capacity and MPG. On my last full tank I was able to drive 527 miles, most to date, and I was able to pump 32.714 gallons, also the most to date, into the tank. The MPG for this tank also read 17.2 also highest, and this is in mixed driving in some...
So I got this as well and just installed it. It looks like it pretty good. I really like that its easy to swing up so you can get it out of the way. I believe the extra parts are for the installing this in older Rams. The instructions don't even reference these parts. I ended up with the...
So I am struggling a little as a buyer when the expectation is 17/22/19 and my real work experience is 15.5. My driving is about 50/50. Now i'm only 2500 miles into my Ram, I am hoping it gets better, but I feel there's now way I will be seeing 19 combined. It's one of the two disappointing...
So, my last fill-up was the highest number of gallons yet, 31.440. I drove it past the point where it gave a number for the range, so it read "low" for a rage remaining "number". My guess is that somewhere between 1 and 1.5 gallons or about 15 to 22 miles of range were left. its seems like the...
The MOST gas I have been able to put in the tank is 31.375. I think we can figure this out. This is pretty simple . . . someone has run their truck til empty (and yes, I know this is bad for the fuel pump) and then filled it up. I am low on gas in my 1500 eTorque. I think I am going to go full...
Thanks Darlene. Odd thing is this actually cleared up on its own, which I guess can happen from time to time. I may not even bring it in now. We'll see.
I'm mid-way through tank 3 of gas. The first tank was i did 16.3. Second 15.5, lots of idle time showing it off and driving aggressively to break in the engine. Current tank is 17.5 and I have half a tank left. I am hoping its improving. We'll see and update everyone with my progress.
Anyone have any insight (pictures and or video) on removing the grille and headlight chrome trim pieces? I want to plasti dip them and I'd like to remove all the parts so I don't have to worry about masking things off. Any help or insight anyone has would be great. Thanks!
Heat gun, fishing line, and patience. Make sure you don't lift up at too high of an angle when removing an emblem or you'll damage the paint. Also you need to decide how you want to remove the adhesive from the paint. There are several different ways. I went with Goo gone, but there are these...
