Mine does the same. 2wd feels great. 4Auto feels exactly like 4wd is engaged in a way. Like drag or vibrations through the gas pedal and steering wheel.

I noticed tiny bit floatier more comfortable feel and actually think the rear absorbs impacts better with less jarring in the cab. Overall very little difference.

I did an entire tank 26 gallons in my quad cab 4x4 hemi etorque 3.23 gears averaged 24.1mpg. I drove like an absolute grandpa and coasted ridiculous distances to four way stops and stuff. All driving was at posted 55mph speed zones other then my neighborhood.
