I have zero brand loyalty. The Ram was simply the best driving and most comfortable of the bunch. I actually wanted to like the Ford, especially living in the rust belt.
Don't have enough mileage to answer honestly about fuel economy... but if you are talking about a lift and wheels and tires...
Ended up buying this 2019 Rebel with 14,000 Miles sight unseen for $41,600. I suppose really it was closer to $42,000 including the "doc fees." Hemi, 4x4, crew cab, level 2 equipment package, luxury pacage, Unconnect 12, Pano roof, bedliner, step, and sidesteps.
All in all I feel pretty good...
Dealer sent over this picture after the detail. Should be delivered tomorrow AM. $41,600, and all said and done, taxes, fees, shipping to my door (200 miles away) were at 44K. Apart from the $600 doc fee, I'm not upset. 2019 with 14K miles. Luxury package, Uconnect 12, pano sun roof, level 2...
In the process of buying this for $41,600. With taxes, fees, and delivery from 200 miles away it comes to $44,000.

So for a loaded (level 2, 2 tone paint, Linex, side steps, pano roof, 12 inch nav, premium audio) rebel crew cab with a 60k sticker, 2019 14k miles, is 41.5 a fair price?
I'm leaning more towards ordering a 2020 if my price expectations are realistic. I can order what I want for an MSRP of 53 (Laramie Hemi 4x4 crew, level 1, tow package, offroad group, 33 gallon tank, bench seat) including destination. Is it crazy to expect to get 20% of MSRP on an order?
Also...
Side note: Has anyone ever dealt with CARFAX ****ing up and erroneously listing a vehicle with having been in an accident? My wife's jeep has an accident reported that never happened -- and of course that portion of the Massachusetts RMV is still shut down for COVID. The only way I have found to...
CPO Hemi 4X4 crew cab Laramie with level 1 equipment group and tow package and 10K miles for 36K (not including tax), worth jumping on or should I hold out?
I mean I'm trying stay strictly under $20K cash on top of the trade it, so 40-45 total depending what I am offered on the trade. I already have a 20K cash offer from a dealer to just buy the vehicle, so I know there's some wiggle room there.
How flexible has pricing been on special orders as opposed to off the lot? As stated, it seems the MSRP on an order would be around 52-53K and anything on the lot that included all said features (as well as stuff I don't care about) would be closer to 60K.
Update -- ended up buying the rebel
Good morning,
My wife is looking to trade her 2014 Wrangler Unlimited owned since new for a new or used truck. We are looking at Rams and F150s. I generally prefer the idea of buying used. We did buy the wranglers new as they retain their value so well. I...
