So, Little update on my truck, The rear was sitting lower than the front giving it a cali squat. Contacted motofab sent me brand new 2" spacers for the rear , and while i was at it, put the air lifting 1000HD Springs. WOW they are awesome in a lifted truck. Took some bounce out since i always...
I did do though, however mine definitley looks more bound than that, i removed the sway bar at the frame side, so i m thinking i need to remove it at the A arm side, and reseat the sway bar (cause its ball and socket) Thanks for the pic. atleast i know its a simple fix. as the passenger side...
scott,
can you do me a favor and take a pic of your front sway bar links? in my previous post i asked another member to post a picture of his, i have a sqeak when going ofver bumps and a small clunk when the suspension really compresses. it looks as if my drive side link may have bound up when...
is there a reason you went with new shocks in the rear?
also can you do me a favor and take a pic of your front sway bar links in the front,
I think for some reason my drive side is binding,
I have a slight sqeak when i hit bumps, it looks like the socket may have popped out .
Everything...
Yep.
I used the mopar 2" Lift UCAs.
I would assume the results in lift would be the same.
being as most people net .75" to 1.25"
I do have squat now when i tow being as its level all the way around.
I'll be getting around to installing my airlift 1000HD bags to prevent that.
IF its any help (havent seen anyone post here in awhile)
I can recommend the RC speedo calibrator.
Definitely agree with others to take measurement of tire with weight on it.
time will tell if it helps my gas mileage back up, since it allows the TCU to shift properly now.
my 295/60r20...
Well what can I say,
been putting alot of miles on the truck already this far.
Just passsed 30,750k
bought march 27th, 2019.
In addition finally bit the bullet and got the rough county tire calibration tuner in.
took about 5 mins and got the tire size changed,
Definitely take a ground...
honestly, i Havent tried, The truck gets parked outside so my jeep sits in the garage. I can measure it tonight and let you know. for what its worth im 6'3 and its still taller than me
Honestly,
The ride is damn near identical,
The only difference in ride i attest to the Nitto Ridgegrapplers, being as they are more aggressive than the OEMs. im very happy with how it turned out,
A little teaser, was too excited when they got delivered. Threw the rear 1” spacers on and installed the wheels. Definitely happy with the fitment. Originally thought I was gonna have too much poke. But just the right amount .
rear lift only took 1.5hrs.
Doing the front tomorrow
Quick little update on my build.... the waiting for my wheels is killing !!!!!
Hopefully should be in this week or the begining of next.
went with 295/60r20 nitto ridge grapplers
Motiv offroad 423b 20x 10 -25
oh yea its worth every penny i spent.
I like the off road package.
Im adding offroad package springs and a leveling kit to mine when my wheels and tires show up.
Wheels and tires have been purchased for the tow rig, waiting on my upper control arms to come in than it will go under the knife
went with motiv off-road 423B
20x10 -25 offset
nitto ridge grapplers
LT295/60/R20
Exactly,
My first trip out i played with the load a couple time just driving it around the neighborhood.
Definetly 1000x better towing with it that my dads old truck (2014 silverado with 5.3)
Now i just have it marked where I like it the most and go.
Just purchased LASFIT LED Low beam bulbs for the truck/
Labor day 15% off coupon
20LBD
definetly looking forward to installing them to replace the stock halogen. I've been spoiled by my HID's in my jeep. I finally broke down and bought the LED bulbs
