Excellent choice! I run the same tires. Their sidewall construction is second to none, I have 16k miles on mine with probably 1k of that being pretty serious off roading and they have held up amazingly. Enjoy!
@RebelWraith did you measure the before and after height change? For whatever reason it doesn’t look like it’s +2” over Rebel height. Are you running a true 35” tire or a metric equivalent like a 295 70 18??
I don’t have the Fox kit, but I do have Kings. That said, I don’t see it being possible to gain 3” of lift over the OEM Rebel lift without some sort of spindle lift / new front crossmember. The kings are set from Thuren at + 2.5” which is over an OEM non- ORG or Rebel Ram 1500, so on the Rebel I...
I’m about to do my own Redarc install. Did we confirm the 5th DT’s (gas / non e-torque) have smart alternators? Redarc provides some guidance how to check for this on their website by mentioning the voltage to look for when your truck is running. Mine always seems to be at 14.6-14.7 v but they...
Anyone have an issue with poor resolution? I know the OEM reverse camera is digital and the aftermarket ones like the Natika ones are analog, but I can’t imagine it would make such a big difference.
Personally, I like having the compression adjusters and I do use them. I noticed a significant difference when I had my truck loaded down in the rear and did some higher speed off-roading in the desert washes. Aside from having some compression adjustment capability, there are other performance...
Really easy actually! I jacked the rear end up and removed the oem links and actually never had to remove the rear wheels. The whole install took maybe 45 mins start to finish, including greasing the zerks and taking pics. 😂
I prefer the Icon arms due the the delta joint they use instead of the traditional uniball or high articulation ball joint. The delta joint has a higher range of travel and I forget the exact numbers, but it has considerably more “pull out” strength that a ball joint. Uni balls are great but a...
Indeed it does, the shocks are slightly extended over the OEM Rebel shocks, I had a comparison photo on my phone but for the life of me I cannot find it. Both the front and the rear are extended. The new Icon a arms did allow the shocks to achieve full droop in the front. Also, in the real...
