Totally agree with this. Hate the Corsa sound on a truck. I have the Borla S-Type catback system, and it sounds the way a HEMI should sound. Everyone asks what kind of system it is. The sound is uniquely deep and throaty. No drone at all.
Nice! Don't do resonators. You will kill it completely. I have the Borla S-Type catback, and after 5-years of daily driving with them, I still smile when I step on it. Best mod to my truck, hands down. I will never buy another brand exhaust again. Borla for the win
I did a fluid change on my wife's 17' Suburban recently. That had a more traditional spill & fill process and has a dipstick. I did that one at 52,000 miles, as we tow a 6,000 lb. trailer with the Burban often for camping trips. Refilled that one with the regular Valvoline Maxlife ATF and it's...
I check my oil weekly. It’s always full and it’s still clean when I change it. That’s just wrong. Valvoline full synthetic oil is good oil. I used to use conventional barrel oil on my older trucks at 3,000 OCI and would get 300,000 miles on all of them.
I installed the PPE tranny Pan on my 19’ 1500 today. Ordered a new gasket to be safe, and reused the factory bolts. Everything seems to have gone well. My Laramie with 68,000 miles took 7.5 quarts of Valvoline Extended Protection Full Synthetic ATF. I can’t believe how buttery smooth the...
Update! I started doing 5k intervals, as I feel the MDS kick in much harder after the oil hits the 5k mark. Once i change it, MDS kicks in and out smooth as butter again. I've read the oil acts as hydraulic fluid for the MDS lifters, and it makes sense now.
I have a 19' Laramie and got it summer of 2018. It has been an absolute dream, and the powertrain feels bulletproof. 5k OCI with Valvoline full synthetic. Only use premium Top Teir fuel as well. I had broken manifold studs just prior to my 5-year anniversary (54,000 mi). Powertrain warranty...
How does the motor feel at idle and when accelerating now? I just hit 5 years with my Laramie 1500 DT, and am approaching 60,000 miles. I was wanting to do new ones.
