I just got mine back from Caliber Collision yesterday after hail repair, the 3rd vehicle we had repaired this year after a hailstorm in April. $4600 total, not nearly as bad as OP's but very noticeable. They did a great job with the PDR and trim replacement on all my vehicles.
Adaptive cruise control isn't the same as regular cruise control and it's certainly not a "scam". It "adapts" to cars in front of you and will automatically slow you down and speed you back up to maintain distance, a feature that none of my older cars with standard cruise control have. For me it...
Funny, I'm in DFW too and also had an issue with my sprayer. I finally remembered to look yesterday and discovered that the main tube was disconnected from where it connects to the "hood" tube for some reason.
Another set of part numbers (sigh). Do these not have the camera? If so then maybe that's the difference with what I posted. I'll look more when I get a chance.
Did you ever pull the trigger on these?
I think those part numbers are the black mirrors, not the chrome. I found the below part numbers in an older message that are supposedly chrome, but when I search any of the parts sites it never mentions the color. Anyone know how to tell for sure...
I had heard about the HVAC flash but no idea what it does. But I took mine in last month for some repairs and asked for the TSB to be done. Instead they did the HVAC flash and added some refrigerant, and it is definitely working better. I need to do some temperature testing, but on some 99 deg...
This makes me very angry as I was planning to seriously consider a 2022 model, and I will NOT get a black leather interior in Texas. Period. I'd rather have cloth.
So yesterday morning it was in the 50's in Dallas. I had to run an errand and jumped in the truck wearing shorts. The air was blowing cold so I turned the temp way up but it stayed cold. Then I remembered - THE HOSE CLAMP!
I turned off the system and just turned on the seat heater which helped...
Blue streak was my color of choice but when this baby came up for sale with almost every option I wanted then I had to have it. I do need to take another picture with the extras that I've added.
THANK YOU for posting this! I have experienced this too and thought the system was acting up when I could smell exhaust fumes. Now I know how the truck works and that I'm not crazy!
I measured about 53 today after driving for about 25 minutes. Truck initially said outside temp was 111 but it had been sitting in the sun. Actual temp was 93, and the truck eventually showed 97 outside.
It did get cold in the cab eventually, but based on what others have posted it's not good.
Funny you mention this. I used to have a garage fridge that was a small dorm-sized unit, no freezer, that I would keep drinks in to grab on the way out or when working outside. I had to donate it to a family member in senior living early this year and I've really missed it. I had looked before...
Mine cracked sitting on the dealer's lot (used). I can't remember where it was (getting old sucks) but my daughter says it was on the driver's side. It was definitely noticeable. And I do have the pano roof, a feature I could have lived without to be honest.
Looks like a GPS tracker. Might have been installed by your dealer, and your sales contract may include language allowing it, so I would read your sales contract and ask the dealer.
I bought my truck used and a locksmith found a tracker. There was some burbage in the contract about using a GPS...
Can the Uconnect system use the hotspot for streaming radio or any other purpose, or is it just for other devices?
Also, I bought my truck used and still figuring things out. My SiriusXM trial is active, but the other day the antenna was blocked for a few minutes so the unit offered me to...
