I just towed this Airstream to South Dakota and back with no issues. 10.5 mpg and had little to no problems. 2800 miles round trip 4 of us in the truck plus cargo. trailer has a GVWR of 7300 lbs.
Pretty cool ideas you guys have. I though wired to the trailer plug (marker lights) and drilled two 3/4 inch holes for LED lights and a weather proof toogle switch into the plastic covers where the factory lights would have been. They acutal work pretty well I can see the whole brd at night.
I like those extra reverse lights. The factory ones are not very bright. I thought of doing something like you did just didnt think of putting them behind the bumper.
If you call to cancel they always drop the price, I enjoy it and only listen to it hate the nonstop commercials on free radio. $10 bucks is worth it to me.
