You can remove it without reversing anything.
If you plan on doing more alfa obd work you can leave it in. It's sometimes a pain in the *** to remove depending on what cable you have.
"Either zip tie it up out of the way or find some kind of fasteners to mount to the factory holes. The dummy plug has a retainer clip plugged into one of the holes. I tapped 2 sheetrock anchors into the holes and screwed the antenna in with 2 sheetrock screws. Its not perfect but it is...
I have some pics of this from my install I can send over if that helps. Different parts of the door harness, taking it apart, how to insert the wires, etc.
The diagram jimmy07 provided for what terminals the wires plug into was the most helpful
Applied power to both terminals (not at the same time) on the window motor and nothing happens.
Jumped power from the red wire at the door power module to the motor also and still no joy. New window motor time I guess?
Tried that earlier but didn't time it, so not sure how long I left it unplugged. I'm going to pull out the door plug tomorrow and go over it again. 🤷♂️
I didn't find any obvious loose, disconnected, etc wires.

Passenger handle installed. Works. Locks work. Mirror works. Power window on passenger side does not work. Trying to control from driver switch does not work it either. Any ideas?
Got the drivers side done on my Ram 2500 yesterday. Success! No more fishing around in my pocket for the key fob. Thanks to everyone that got this project going. Thanks Jimmy07 for the harnesses and helping me out with the wiring.

I cant seem to find body color door handles w/passive entry in olive green pearlcoat for my 2020 2500. Are they just not available because its not a "mainstream" color?
Going to try this mod either way but it would be nice to have matching handles.
