Help needed with camper shell power lock wiring.

For anyone following this thread, I found the correct wires and they are not at the tailgate. Brief recap... I installed the Pop & Lock PL9555 power lock for camper shell/tonneau cover and couldn't find the lock/unlock power wires at the rear of the truck. I pulled the door lock switch out of...

Help needed with camper shell power lock wiring.

That's what I thought too, but the tailgate lock doesn't appear to have a "Power lock" and "Power unlock" wire in the group of wires that go to the tailgate handle. The lock wires may go to the sides of the tailgate. The tailgate release seems to be a push button so this would make sense. I'll...

Truck requires a lot of gas to start going reverse uphill

For me, I back up with the door closed and seatbelt on, but I know what you're talking about. I made the "mistake" of trying to back up one time with the door open. These new, safe vehicles don't like for you to be in gear with the door open. :D

Good observations. I've got the 3.6L Bighorn for my company car and the gas mileage for highway driving averages about 20 MPG after 24k miles. I've used mine to tow a 22' center console boat and was pleasantly surprised at how well it handled and accelerated in tow mode. Outside of tow mode, it...

Truck requires a lot of gas to start going reverse uphill

Mine is the same way. I back in to my driveway and it is uphill. I've found that if I hold the brake while pressing the gas, them release the brake pedal I can back uphill at a decent pace. Not sure if the parking sensors are in play or not, but sometimes I get the "safety stop" from the...

Help needed with camper shell power lock wiring.

I recently purchased a Pop and Lock power lock for my Leer camper shell and am having trouble locating the correct lock/unlock wires to tap into. I have searched for a wiring diagram for 2019 Ram 1500s without any luck. Pop & Lock dealer narrowed my search to 4 wires, but I am not confident in...
